Manning is a racist and should not be promoted by any conservative in any way, period. Moreover, he may be unbalanced or just another Reverend who doesn’t care all that much for the teachings of Christ.

Just another flavor of Reverend Wright.
“Manning is a racist”
The use of politically incorrect terms does not make one such a bad ole racist. Supporting Affirmative Action is much more racist.
You apparently did not read the link I presented as backup for my charges. If you had, you would know that “use of politically incorrect terms” is not something I have brought up, much less something I think is proof of racism.
If I’m wrong and you have read the link, be sure and tell me why that stuff isn’t racist.
What? Some colloquialisms prove racism??? I could care less. Real racism is not being called a cracker or a wetback or a nigger or a slutty white. Real racism is basing hiring on race where race trumps all other considerations.
Are you saying affirmative action is racist?
What did Barry “pimp” referred to when he called Crowley’s action stupidity???
Did Gates used the race card, huh!!!
Can I get on the affirmative action dole and preferences???
I like Ol’ Gordon’s show, he gets some interesting guests. Yesterday he had Wayne Root (gambling tout, VP candidate w/ Bob Barr, Jew-turned-born again Christian, and father of two home-schooled high-achieving children) on for a whole hour.
I’ll have to give a listen to the podcast tonight.
I seldom say this to fellow Freepers, or anyone else for that matter, but...you are really, really, really dumb. That's not just because of the phrase I quoted above, even though it may be the dumbest thing I've seen in print (certainly the dumbest thing I've seen on FR), so dumb, in fact, that you're making this person look like a genius. At this point, I'm doing this for the lurkers, so we'll just glide on past that incredibly stupid statement, though I will suggest you go to a bar in South Central L.A., loudly call the assembled customers "a bunch of n*****s" and then tell them it's OK because you're not a racist. If you're black, try the same thing with "cracker" in a bar full of white bikers. But please, in either case, take someone along to film it so I can enjoy the results. I'll provide my own popcorn.
Now, let's look at the other reasons that you are really, really, really dumb.
1. Calling people "cracker" and other such names is a proiduct of the racism that births crap like segregation and affirmative action, not the opposite of it or some sideshow. Seriously, if you see some black guy at a podium talking about "whitey" or "cracker" to a cheering crowd, do you think he's a supporter or opponent of affirmative action? What do you think Louis Farrakhan thinks about it? If you see a white guy at some podium using the N-word in his speech, do you think he walks away thinking "I just called those folks 'n*****s,' but I hope one marries my daughter"?
Good grief.
2. You say hiring and promotion based on race is racist (and you're right about that) but Manning uses race-based standards when it comes to who people should date, marry and vote for, who they should donate campaign money to and who should be in political ads, and you're defending him. How come it's wrong to say "You're hired because you're black" but OK to say "You're trash because only one of your parents was black?"
3. Conservatives are supposed to believe in truth, but Manning has made sexual accusations without any evidence to back themn up. But hey, why not copmpromise our principles if the guy says nasty things about Obama? That's more important than integrity, right?
4. The folks in Stromfront and the KKK all use the N-word and I'm sure they hate affirmative action...why not bring them in?
5. Could you explain what it is Manning brings to the table that is worth associating conservatism with a lying sexist and racist?
I’m having trouble understanding you. Are you saying that it’s OK that Manning is a racist because Gates and Obama are racists?
Just for the record, I think all three of them are racist jerks and I hope they all go soak their heads..
See post 2. Are conservatives supporting racists and slanderers now?
Is Alan Keyes also a racist??
Or is Thomas Sowell a racist???
I did not say Manning was a racist because he is black. I said Manning is a racist because he judges people by the color of their skin and because he considers bi-racial people to be “trash.”

I think that an analysis of your prose above shows which one of us has the lowest IQ. Note how many times you use the word “dumb”. Of course when you can't win an argument on merit you resort to name calling.
Not to brag, but I've been managing editor of a national publication and have been a professional writer as my sole job for five years now. I'll take my clients' and readers' evaluation of my skills over yours, thanks. The clients pay me the most sincere of compliments: cash.
BTW, here's an example of my historical writing and a search on the keyword "silverback" will bring up a number of newspaper columns and features I've written over the years.
Of course when you can't win an argument on merit you resort to name calling.
Really? I've lost the argument? Well then, you should have no trouble at all responding to the actual points I made and questions I asked in post 11. I suspect you won't, that you will let insulting my writing ability stand in for actual debate. That would be pretty hypocritical, however.
Don't be a jive turkey. Answer the post.
Jon Meacham of Newsweek makes a good living writing/editing but he still writes sophomoric trendy-set drivel just like you do.
I've made my point that the rude use of ethnic slurs does not show one to be racist on the order of supporting a political policy that is overtly racist such as Affirmative Action. In other words I think of Jesse Jackson as racist but I'll give Popeye Doyle a pass.
Considering Manning looks like there’s whites in his family tree, your statement is interesting.
