Neither were born over there, neither hold passports for there and neither have changed citizenship to there.
I’ve noticed that in MA many folks think they are Irish and when I did ask some proper Irish what they thought of Americans thinking they were the same as them they laughed and thought it was stupid.
The irish drink just as much as anyone else, not mroe (if that is supposed to be a good thing)
Having lived in many countries I can honestly say that the Germans and the Aussies can drink a lot .
Why would anyone want to pretend to be Irish anyway?
