“Next year we’ll spend $17 billion in Medicare dollars on an oxymoron: preventing inevitable death.”
Sodomites with AIDS face inevitable death.
You first Anne.
Pathetic, irritating lefty video. Remote control muting a must.
Like it or not, this is a decision that every individual or family must be prepared to make.
Dieing is an inevitability, so insuring against it is illogical. Insurance is for the UNEXPECTED. That’s like including gas and tires in your car insurance.
However, it’s NOT a decision for the government.
If I want to buy “end of life” care insurance, that’s my right. I better buy it early because it would certainly be more expensive as one nears the end.
If an insurance company doesn’t want to provide such policies, that should be their option. Somehow, though, I don’t expect the goobermint to allow that.
I figured out how the fed bureaucrats will justify AIDS treatment costs while offing grandma as “too expensive”.
It has to do with the QALY (quality adjusted life year).
Simply make the “quality” variable of living a homo lifestyle to be ten times that of a normal healthy person.
If you buy long term care insurance now, or have already,
you’re probably wasting your money.
If this socialist healthcare goes through, that policy will be absolutely worthless, because there will be no doctors available to treat you.
Okay, Anne, if that’s the reality then why not just reform Medicare, and tell old people: “Sorry, but you have to die now in order to save money.”
Why do we need a government takeover of healthcare if all that’s needed is to throw granny on Medicare under the bus?
I assume you know the answer.
Too bad the truth about their intentions always gets the truth speaker labeled a “kook”.
They want to control who accesses health care so that they control every part of your life that affects the costs of that healthcare. In other words, everything you choose to do or not do.
Why is the Left SO fixated on death? Rush is right again! They really are the Party of Death.
Only 12% ? That sounds reasonable, not what most lefts say. I'm sure that O's people will correct her and have her change that figure to 50 or 60%
Sorry, I just could not read the rest of this lib dribble. If I did, I would be typing the rest of the day responding to this post.
Because of the “father” of their ideology:
John 8:44
You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
BINGO!!
My understanding is that LTC is more for things like a home-health aide to help you with meals, dressing, etc., especially if you have had a stroke or something that leaves you alive but partially incapable. Anybody else have an opinion?
This woman is a walking Public Service Announcement for the defeat of this insidious "health care" bill.
Notice how she assumes "WE" all think alike? "WE" are responsible for "this mess"? "WE" all "act the same"? "WE" all need to change our view of dying? "WE" must show others who do not view death as "WE" do the error of their ways?
This way of viewing society is the essence of Liberalism. No accounting for the Individual, just some amorphous "WE" that acts the same & thinks the same. In truth, she has NO IDEA how "WE" feel about death. She has no idea what plans I have made for my death or you have made for yours. What I view as "death with dignity" might be your idea of hell.
There is no "WE" yet. But there will be, if this horrific Health Care Collective becomes a reality. "WE" can look forward to many, many more lectures from people such as this. The only difference? They won't be simply lectures, they'll be the law.
I like the title! I hope every old timer reads this. It tells the tale on the spirit of Obamacare.
Obama Healthcare:
Allowing you to die with dignity and love, less expensively.
Can anybody make a nice poster of that?
