AARP’s reaction when confronted with facts about how Medicare will be destroyed by a nationalized health system which will cover all Americans is a limp and vague “AARP would never support a bill which would hurt our senior citizens” - yet they continue to speak up for just such a bill - they’re worse than useless

All that needs to be done is create a point by point refutation quoting the sections of the bill that prove the lies.
It would be interesting to see the kind of rebuttal that the Marxists use.

Fact: Fact: Health care reform will preserve the employer-based health care system, meaning an estimated 200 million Americans will continue to get their coverage through their employers. No. All existing plans will be phased out as people quit, get fired, or retire. "Preserve the employer-based health care system" is obfuscation. All employers must replace their existing plans with new ObamaCare plans, to be determined by the new govt Health Care Commission.
Fact: Every proposal that Congress is considering would allow people to choose their own doctors and hospitals.
Wrong. The ObamaCare health bill (HR 3200) says nothing about doctor choice or hospital choice.
Myth: Health care reform means rationed care.
Fact: None of the health reform proposals being considered would stand between individuals and their doctors or prevent any American from choosing the best possible care.
More obfuscation. The selection of allowed treatments will be determined by the Health Care Commission. The AARP is using slippery language to indicate that all-cash treatment will still be allowed. (Though I suspect even all-cash treatment will be banned eventually as it was in Canada and Britain because it is 'unfair'.)

All of it. Read the bill, or better yet listen to Rush, he had the page numbers and exact wording of most of the BS in this article. You can't have your own doctors or health insurance, you will be rationed and you will have to have end of life consultations after 65. You can start off with your own insurance, but as soon as you change jobs or your company(which is very likely to happen)drops their insurance you will have to go onto the program. You will be taxed 2.5% if you refuse to join government health care and have no other insurance.
The part that should scare the crap out of people is that the government will have access to your bank accounts, ALL bank accounts. Isn't that nice?
A committee will decide what treatment you can have, they will use the age of the person to determine treatment in most cases.
AARP lies!!!

Did you happen to see the AARP guy on Glen Beck on Fox yesterday? He did not appear to have a clue as to what nObama is planning.

I told both my parents to drop their membership to the AARP. I took them to HR 3200 online, and showed them the bill. They were quite upset and have given up their memberships!!!
