Lurker, here is the question.
You go to a peaceful citizens protest and some clown slaps ya. Do you knock them on their ass? Even if it is a short fat ugly democrat is a she beast?

It would vary from situation to situation. In this particular case I'd be off to the local PD and file a formal criminal complaint charging this Dim with Assault and Battery. That would be the procedure in my Jurisdiction anyway.

One files the Complaint, swears it out, and the local PD goes and makes an arrest. I'd not only be there with my own videocamera, I'd alert all the local media to the upcoming fun as well.

As satisfying as it would be knocking this fat pig on her ass would be strategically unwise IMO.

Now, were it some 250 pound Union goon cranking up to hit me the scenario changes entirely. I would not permit him to strike me, in fact I'd put him on the ground with a rather painful injury.
