Why of course that many protestors are racists, says Cynthia Tucker of the Atlanta-Journal Constitution.
Mark Finkelstein at Newsbusters has this exchange between Tucker and Crissy Matthews on Hardball (video here -- http://media.eyeblast.org/newsbusters/static/2009/08/209-08-07MSNBCHBTucker.wmv ):
CHRIS MATTHEWS: Put 100 of these people in a room. Strap them into gurneys. Inject them with sodium pentathol. How many of them would say "I don't like the idea of having a black president"? What percentage?
CYNTHIA TUCKER: Oh, I'm just guessing. This is just off the cuff. I think 45 to 65% of the people who appear at these groups are people who will never be comfortable with the idea of a black president.
How she can divine this truth is unclear. Perhaps her unquestioned moral authority as a result of her being black grants her this insight.
Perhaps her refined journalistic sense, honed by years of experience gives her a special view into the souls of her fellow man.
Maybe she sees invisible white hoods worn by protestors that are simply not seen by the rest of us mortals.
Most likely explanation for how Cynthia Tucker came up with that outrageous percentage of racists at town hall meetings?
She's just making stuff up like every other liberal Democrat.
And the rest of us are conspiracy theorists....yadda yadda yadda.

This is the same Cynthia Tucker who couldn’t hack it in America, so went to Africa to find herself. After 6 months with the bros and sisters, “had had enough” and returned to the racist Atlanta area to take an affirmative action offered job as a “journalist”
Put Chrissy Matthews on a journey, don’t inject him with anything and ask him how much he hates conservative thought, or the truth, and he’d say “All the time.”
They’re cranking up the projectors. Racists calling us white folks all racists is a too predictable reaction. I predict it will backfire big time and cause a lot of folks to leave the liberal plantation and the “whupping in” by the paterrollers like Tucker will grow more and more desperate.

I would love for Clarence Thomas, JC Watts, Alan Keyes, or any one of the Conservative leaders of this country who may have an African heritage to lead us, how DARE you call me racist, you Commie Lib Lover! You are the reason this country is in the turmoil it is in. You won’t tell the truth. That is beyond “racist” it is vile and immoral. But you wouldn’t know the difference, you are in bed with the Devil.

many I know who are independants, Dems and those who do not follow politics are getting more and more outraged at what the Dem party is doing
any sane American now finds this disgusting, we have free speech and that is what Americans value
