I am sick and f---ing tired of this spin about Medicare. Medicare simply does not reimburse doctors or hospitals for the total cost of services rendered. It pays what it pays and in return the government allows those same doctors and hospitals to overcharge insurance companies for the same services to offset what Medicare won't pay. Proponents of Medicare say reimbursement is between 70 and 80% of cost...as if 20 to 30% is negligible. But someone has to pick up the difference and that someone is every single person in this country that pays for their own insurance. This is the real reason why the health care system in this country is screwed up.

The Democrats can't argue the selling points of their Health Care plans--there are none--so they've changed the subject to "angry mobs at town hall meetings". One needs to ask one simple question of Democrats: "How can Congress spend weeks on hearings about steroids in Major League Baseball but not have one single public hearing about the health care plan they want to foist on Americans sight unseen? Perhaps this is the reason why citizens are unruly and impolite as their representatives go through the inconvenience of having to actually talk to their constituents.

As for Rachel Maddow, I have only one question. Where did she get this notion that a bull dyke is smarter than everyone else? I recall Rosie O'Donnell had the same attitude. Where's she now?
