Nothing worse than when you have terrorists within.
When I read the term "homicide bomber" I assume they mean suicide bomber. I assume the bomber had bombs strapped on or something, and blew him or herself up.
If they want to distinguish between military bombers--who are killing but are not committing homicide, then they should say "Suicide bomber murders XX people". That way, we know the method used by the killer--suicide bombing--AND we know that that bomber was not a lawful combatant (as if a lawful combatant could lawfully carry out a suicide bombing.)
Homicide bomber is just a silly stupid worthless phrase. Tells you nothing---you just assume they mean the real term that they won't say for some silly reason.
Agree completely; the term “homicide bomber” irritates me to no end every time I hear it.
Completely idiotic phrase. Can’t the news just use factually meaningful terms? Was it the work of a non-military civilian bomber? Fine, call them “terrorist bombers”. Were they Muslims? Call them “Muslim bombers”. Did they kill themselves in the attack? Then they’re “Muslim terrorist suicide bombers”.
