For those wondering just how strong the sentiment being expressed at Tea Parties and town hall meetings is growing throughout the nation, consider that about 1,000 people turned out to demonstrate against ObamaCare Friday in one of the most liberal cities in America...San Francisco.
That's right, a Tea Party in House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's (D-Cal.) own district.
Speakers included KSFO's Brian Sussman, and California Republican Party Vice Chairman Thomas Del Beccaro.
Also in attendance, and speaking to the crowd without a microphone due to problems with the sound system, was NewsBusters' own Noel Sheppard (video embedded below the fold, Sheppard appears at 7:10, h/t Michelle Malkin):

Later that day, another Tea Party was held across the Bay in Danville, California, where a group of about two hundred so-called "angry mobsters" greeted Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Cal.) as she attended a book signing at a local bookstore.

NB's Sheppard was in attendance, and provided radio coverage for KSFO during Brian Sussman's show.

As a final aside, we could not find coverage of the San Francisco event in that city's largest paper, the S.F. Chronicle. Color us unsurprised.

WOO HOO! This is SO fantastic. I can't believe it .. in San Francisco and Boxer's district! What a lift to the spirits. Look at the crowds ... listen to them!! Pelosi and Boxer, you might just have a big problem, if solid Americans have anything to say about it.

Unfortunately, this debate has turned into racial politics, but that isn't our fault. The Left and Obama are all about racial discrimination first and foremost.
Michelle Obama vowed to use the power of Government to enforce tax dollars to go to "my people." Check your forearm to see if you qualify.
This is all about giving away health care to those who won't or can't pay for it. That's it.

So far there’s nothing in the SF WRONGICLE about the event, but they don’t have their Sunday edition up yet.
It is incredible to see this, and I hope it swells to a raging and irresistible sea of conservative opposition. But if Republicans keep going the way they are then any void created by unseated Democrats will simply remain a RINO hole for leftists to filter back into. Socialists and worse never give up. We have to field conservative candidates who can articulate the virtues of the constitution and small government, and then stay the course once elected. For this to happen, the tea parties and town halls must continue unabated no matter who is elected.

This dog of health care reform is unlikely to pass before congress goes on vacation but when the liberal congress start campaigning for it in their home states, we have a valuable tool at our hands.
Attend those sales pitches and have on hand particular articles of this monstrous bill and ask the congress critter a question about it without telling him the content.
In other words: “CongressCritter, I would like to hear your opinion of Article two section 10 of the obama health care proposal and please be specific, thank you”
Get it recorded any way you can.

I would really, really like to think I had an epiphany but in truth it was a common thinking of the grass roots of our country...we have yearned for True Patriots and we have found them...IT IS US!!!
