Not quite this bad boy, but enough to mess up anybody's day. Fun trivia: they were initially made with the barrels from deactivated 8" howitzers. Take a barrel, fill it with explosives, slap some fins and guidance and ta-da, instant bunker buster. Now that's smart use of government resources.

I think you're suggesting a release without making a gentle (can't have that thing slamming back up into its mount), approximately 10-degree downward pitch change correction, in which case one won't notice any significant altitude deviation, so as to occasion a "whee!" (or wee-wee).
