NAPERVILLE (STNG) -- Scott Huber has spent the past eight years living in front of Naperville's Central Parking Facility. Throughout the years the city has received comments and inquiries from residents about Huber, some expressing concern for him, while others want him removed. But officials have said Huber is breaking no laws in the space he occupies, and they cannot forcibly remove him.

Tuesday night, in a 7-1 vote just before midnight, the Naperville City Council directed staff to draft an ordinance that would prohibit Huber from staying at the protest site he established next to one of the city’s parking decks.

Over the years, Huber said he is not homeless but rather protesting the city. On Tuesday he said the city was looking to take action about him without his knowledge.

Guess I never made it over to there when I lived in Naperville.

From what's in the article, I'd say Scott Huber is nuttier than a fruitcake.

He's also lucky Naperville has been this nice to him. A town of $500K to $1 million dollar houses don't take kindly to bums, which is what he is.

And personally I wouldn't do anything to tick off the Naperville PD after this Ordinance goes into effect. He'll be in the DuPage County Jail faster than he can say, 'Buddy can you spare a dime'.

I grew up for many years in Naperville and my brother and his family live there now. Good for ejecting this bum. He can go to some other place that will tolerate this behavior.
