Just like the west (or rather, America) fell at Pearl Harbor. Or didn't.
We still have some bright lights with good education here; though the Iranians (even those who've signed aboard their Arab rulers' program) are anything BUT unintelligent ragheads. You don't keep a civilization going for 5000+ years by being stupid.
I keep praying it won't come to a warring confrontation. There is way too much that is good and beautiful in Iran for it to be blown away by war.
But that is how Satan works...
I pray for Iran and I pray for America. And the deliverance for each that I pray for is not very much different from the other.
I think you give them too much credit. Technology readily be traded. Its like China... everyone rants about china, but every week they are here stealing technology. Then they replicate others. Without the black market technology they would be alot less than they are today. The Iranians? Show me their advancements prior to oil. Oil came along, credit came along, Russia and Pakistan came along. Sure they got a little education in the west to aid their endeavors, but I feel much of it came from Russia.
The problem is the technological advancements are singularly for one thing... death to the little satan and then the big satan and the west.
