Hope your not correct. The first sign will be large scale power and communication blackouts.

I worked on a project back in 2004 or so that involved a company buying out cellular tower leases all over the country - every state in the lower 48. I think the company name was Reliance Communications - though there was another entity named TowerCo involved in some of the deals.

It wasn't until later that I learned that George Soros was heavily involved with those companies. That suggests some ugly possibilities.

You’re right, they bought up thousands if not more. And get this, (I insured one of the lessees) they bought the tower from my client and allowed him to lease it back. They aren’t doing anything with them, but just owning them.

Ping.

Of course, Soros is just the front guy.

Rather like the company in Georgetown, DC in the late 1990s that was buying up satellite transponders all around the planet allegedly to provide satellite radio programs to poor people in the Third World. Of course, people who can’t afford beans or a bowl of rice may not be able to afford satellite receivers or transceivers .... Anyway, company was owned by a family named bin Ladin. Completely separate, secure global comms? We report, you decide.

TowerCo

I think American Tower is bigger (23k towers). Towerco has 3k (their website says they are the fifth largest).

But I think you are on the right track. Who owns the comm backbone over those towers? I think it's a handful of the largest providers. The ideal internet for our purposes would be a mesh in which everybody owns their own equipment and connects to everybody within reach. There would still be a need for a backbone, but that could be provided by connecting valuable customers in the mesh to businesses who would pay for the connection to those customers. There would still be room for sabotage if the network were not designed properly (e.g. rogue nodes could jam it).

With new integrated processors (next year) and a small solar panel, a mesh node could easily be set up anywhere (no need for a big honking tower).

I don’t doubt this for a minute. Do you have any sites that detail this? Thank you in advance.
