Momentum is building for Congress to pass the first major civil rights act protecting gays and transsexuals, supporters say, and one of the stars in the debate is a barrier-breaking transgender staffer on Capitol Hill.
The Employment Non-Discrimination Act, or ENDA, would prohibit workplace discrimination - including decisions about hiring, firing and wages - based on sexual orientation or gender identity. It would exempt religious organizations, the military and businesses with less than 15 workers.
The driving force behind the bill has been Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass., the longest-serving of the three openly gay members of Congress. He expects hearings on the measure to be held this fall.
Frank pushed ENDA in 2007, but it foundered because of insufficient backing in the Senate and a split within the gay and transgender communities. Many activists were irate because Frank - seeking support from wavering colleagues - was open to covering sexual orientation but not gender identity, excluding transgender people from protection.

You are close me thinks, but IMO it’s actually part of the overall picture of the Leftist assault to rip America to shreds. Completely destroy the existing so they can rebuild unencumbered by silly things such as religion, morality, etc. their goal of a BIG Centralized Government, all Government, Socialist/Commie society.
They of course are to be the government, and they of course can do it where others throughout history have failed time and time again, and we Comrade are expected to be good little drones of their Commie Society and contribute to their efforts whether we agree with them or not.
I’d bet that should they achieve (GOD forbid) their Commie goals that the Homo society would become underground, closeted quite rapidly. The “gays” are “useful idiots” in the BIG “Pinky and the Brain” picture of the movement to dominate the World today by the Left.
We could build a list of “Useful Idiots”, but the topic is the gays right now. In essence they are greasing the slide of the guillotine that will eventually be used to end their existance, and toss those not rounded up and executed back into that proverbial closet they detest so much.
