How did you learn to do that?

I didn’t learn it, it just happened. Combine a near death experience with a professional burn out and a profound spiritual crisis and things just started happening. My left brain logical beancounter mind could not understand it so I went on a quest to understand the science supporting the otherwise mystical experiences I was having. IMHO, there is no such thing as a miracle, it is merely science that we do not understand yet. My focus is in the area of cognitive neuroscience.

I am not a mystic, I am a scientist. I go out of my way to prove that what I do is not an illusion, but based upon solid science. Eric Kandel may have received the Nobel prize for his research in this area, but his model of memory storage and processing is all wrong. I’ve read and studied his work and attended his presentations. His reductionist approach is causing him to miss the forest for the trees.

Very cool.

If you don’t mind me asking, what did you see when you died?

More felt than saw... Absolute total peace.... It was overwhelming beyond belief.

What I saw was a journey. Spoke with a few beings, asked for help and then was shoved back into my body. Was not my choice to return.

I try not to, but it does happen at times. What I do is read souls to help people heal, learn and grow. I only do it in person and I am not out to prove anything to anyone or to entertain. Only to help people...

I had that experience, only once. It was glorious.

What I saw was a journey. Spoke with a few beings, asked for help and then was shoved back into my body. Was not my choice to return.

I knew a man who told me a similar story. He had the peace of Jesus about him.

I'm glad you were given the gift of experiencing this.

Edgar Cayce could do that as well.

Aura related, possibly?
