Whatever happened to praying for someone’s conversion?

Depends on what one wishes that person to "convert" to. Perhaps you mean "salvation".


Whenever you pray for someone's conversion, it means "conversion to Christ (Christianity)."

That's what a Christian would (shoudl) pray for. A Jew might pray for someone's conversion, as well as a Muslim or Hindu and it woud mean something different.
