I was kind of thinking that way for this one. They were under surveillance for weeks? Someone tied up police resources for weeks just to catch a couple of hookers? Methinks priorities are a bit misplaced.

It might have been the ‘priorities’ of all the cops who needed time to get ‘up to speed’ on what had been posted on Craigslist.

You know, so they can ‘be aware’ of what’s going on in the neighborhood. ;)

This isn't about hookers. It's about taxes. Craigslist has been under attack presumably about "illicit sex" but what really pisses off the govt about CL is all that commerce going on without sales taxes being rendered to the govt.

Watch for the govt to require CL to somehow force the people who sell/buy on CL to report their sales to the taxman.
