Whj the heck should the “President of the United States” be telling your children to do anything and why should they care? This is disgusting.
Incidentally, Bush’s education dept. was largely responsible for stopping the dread “bilingual education,” which kept children ignorant in two languages (not only English and Spanish, but English and Hmong, English and Arabic, etc.). Teachers liked it because they got a Federally subsidized bonus pay for taking a class in whatever language it was and then speaking it badly to their students, and school districts liked it because they got more money with which they would hire near-illiterates who were native speakers of those languages to “teach” in the bilingual classrooms. But Bush stopped funding this joke. I see that Obama and the teachers’ union have brought it back.
my daughter is 6YO....every time he hear’s “orak obama’s” name on the radio or sees him on TV she always boo’s and gives the thumbs down sign....and I never encouraged it....
this should be fun....
One of the questions teachers are going to ask the students..and the easy answer should be no one knows..

There is no way I would let my child be subjected to this garbage... Any parent that understands the true intentions of the Obummer administration would be negligent in their parental duties if they let their child watch this. Any parent that doesn't understand the true intentions of the Obummer administration is either sticking their head in the sand or is a socialist that welcomes the suffering that comes out way.
First it is the brownshirt SEIU and ACORN thugs. Now it is the indoctrination of our children to make them into "Obama Youth"... "So Johnny, what do mommy and daddy talk about at the dinner table? Are there any guns in your house?"

my youngest is 15 yo, and the 8th will be her first day back to school. i know she isn’t going to sit there with her mouth shut if forced to see this. i’d never dream of depriving her classmates and teachers of her reaction by asking that she be held out of it [they may not even show it, she’s in private school not public]. Last week she said to me, I want only two things from Obama: his birth certificate and the pie he promised me. If he gives me those two things i will think about calling him my president. Until then, he’s just the Antichrist to me. She cracks me up!

What business is it of B.O.’s (or any president) to tell anyone what they should think or do? The president is the CEO of the federal government. He is the top bureaucrat and commander-in-chief of the military. Both are large and important jobs to be taken seriously. But the president is not the moralist-in-chief. He may have to cheerlead in times of crisis but this is more a “let’s all pull together and get the job done” appeal and is not to be confused with “everyone should think and believe X, Y and Z and be acting accordingly”.
We have had maybe 3 presidents (at the most) who are worthy of being taken as moral exemplars and none of them is among the living.
These guys who get elected as president are, in the words of George Will, “just fellas”. In most cases their one great talent was an ability to talk a lot of people into voting for them. In the case of our current occupant of the White House that is his ONLY observable talent. B.O. has demonstrated NOTHING that qualifies him to instruct others in morals or ethics.
