Not content with the mess they created when the university threw innocent lacrosse team players to the wolves following a manifestly false accusation of group rape, Duke university has now instituted a policy for handling rape charges manifestly unfair to the accused.
KC Johnson whose work in defense of the lacrosse team was outstanding, has exposed this outrage as well oin his site, Durham in Wonderland.
Three Duke University students were the victims of the highest-profile fraudulent rape claim in modern American history. That fact alone should make the University particularly sensitive to the dangers of false rape allegations, and the need for a firm commitment to due process in handling any allegation of sexual misconduct.
But Duke administrators seem to worry not about violating the due process of rights of their students but instead about running afoul of politically correct campus ideologues. So, starting this semester, the University has adopted a new "sexual misconduct" policy-a policy that even some Duke administrators fear will lead to an increase in false rape claims against Duke students.
h/t: Just One Minute
At this point when even the opprobrium it received and the reportedly large sums of money the university was forced to pay out to settle claims against it for its conduct in the lynching of its own students isn't enough to get the university to weigh fair play about political correctness, it's time for male students to abandon the institution and alumni to withhold their contributions.
Repeated violations of male students' right to due process merits such responses.

Comment on rape policy not aimed at all students
This is nothing. At Columbia you don’t have the right to know who your accuser is. You are also not allowed legal council or to know the exact nature of the charge.
The procedures are so tilted against the accused that they are a joke. Throughout the process, the accuser will have access to all information gained in the investigation. The accused will get nothing. That means the accuser can change her story any number of times to match any facts that might otherwise exonerate the accused. This is outrageous.
It’s also the way that administrative agencies currently treat employers who are accused of discrimination. The accuser gets any number of chances to mold his/her story into something that will eventually state a claim. The employer is kept in the dark, as the agency tries to lure the employer into making damaging admissions.
It is disgusting.
If you follow the links, you’ll find the same thing is occurring at Duke.
It is also precisely what happened three years ago during the Duke Lacrosse Frame.
And for all who are still following the case, we got this bit of good news this morning.

NO. COA08-859
NORTH CAROLINA COURT OF APPEALS
Filed: 1 September 2009
To the State-Run Media, it’s as if it never even happened...
At least during a criminal investigation, the accused is entitled to all discovery. When the accused finally got that, the charges disappeared. In these Duke proceedings, they never get to know what the investigator discovers, and never get to know how many times the accuser changed her story.
Having gone to the link and read some of the new policy, it was obvious such a star chamber fascist freedom killing process could only have been developed by a liberal.
FRee Republic covered the Duke Lacrosse Frame extensively from the beginning. Keyword “DukeLax” will bring up a world of threads about it. It was a modern-day version of the “Scottsboro Boys.”
Duke is not through paying yet.
Everyday, all day...We uncovered the truth, and I think we had a small part in saving those innocent young men.
