Was this what family members at MyGoodDeed.org envisioned for a 9/11 Day of Service?
Did they hope President Barack Obama’s classless energy czar, a self-describe “communist” named Van Jones, would co-opt their efforts after his group held an anti-America “vigil” on September 12, 2001 and summarized their event this way?
“That night, STORM and the other movement leaders expressed sadness and anger at the deaths of innocent working class people. We were angry, first and foremost, with the U.S. government, whose worldwide aggression had engendered such hate across the globe that working class people were not safe at home. We honored those who had lost their lives in the attack — and those who would surely lose their lives in subsequent U.S. attacks overseas.”
Did the families envision Lennox Yearwood Jr. as the conference-call coordinator of the White House’s support for their efforts after he called our invasion of Iraq “immoral” and clearly agrees with Van Jones that America brought 9/11 on itself?
“That is why the peace movement cannot only stand for harmony abroad. A cease-fire in Iraq will not end the bloodshed of the war that I live out every day. I cannot in good conscious focus on one injustice and neglect her domestic sister. But the solution goes hand in hand. We can cease the bombing of Afghanistan at the same time we clean up the streets of Los Angeles.”
Did they hope to see 9/11 promoted on MyObama dot com as a day to make two phone calls in support of national health care to “fight back against our own Right-wing domestic terrorists, [those] whipped into a frenzy by their Fox Propaganda Network?”

Or were 9/11 family members remembering when all — less a radical few — rushed in with help without stopping to ask how their 2,976 loved ones voted in the last election?
On September 11 and the days that followed, America rushed to Ground Zero with all it had, sent whatever it could to those crawling on the burning piles in New York, at the Pentagon, and just outside of Shanksville, mourned with us, and gently lifted all our families up from our knees. We remember and so does America. If a 9/11 Day of Service is about recapturing that spirit, I’m all in and will defend the effort against all comers.
Yet if this White House is using our fallen hero to gain a political edge as we debate domestic issues and if it continues to be led by revolutionaries like Van Jones and Lennox Yearwood Jr. on behalf of the Obama administration, count me out.
Unbelievable... This administration has lost its flippin mind.
That is simply amazing. It is as if those people are living in a different country, on a different planet.
Don’t these leftist morons understand that when medical care is rationed, all of their self-inflicted disease-ridden, mentally ill carcasses will be some of the first denied care? And what the heck will they do when a Republican is President again? The endless wailing of, “Get your laws off my body even though I voted for those laws in the first place” will be deafening!
Mark Steyn said some brilliant things on socialized medicine today when he was subbing for Rush. His theory (with proof of what Europe & Canada have become) is that once a country gets socialized medicine, all the conservative party can do is say that they can ‘manage it’ more cost-effectively than the socialists!
We are gonna be in a WORLD of hurt in this country if this boondoggle passes. I’m thinking the damage will not be reversible. :(

Do you remember “The Jersey Girls” and the way the media trotted them out to smear Bush at every opportunity? These women actually lost loved ones (I do not discount their loss) but that loss was not what motivated them, it was their liberal world view point and anything that promoted liberalism.
Liberals/Progressives have one over riding goal in common, and that is to RULE over the lives of others because they are SMARTER than we are.
They have not lost there mind, they hate this country plain and simple. America what have you done!
My 9-11 day of service will be as it always has been. Remembering those lost and praying for all of them. That’s it. No service to anyone else. We’ve done our share of service all our lives WITHOUT any president or anyone else telling us we should.
9-11 is reserved respectfully for our dead.

The video includes the planes crashing into the buildings and victims jumping. There are pictures of many of those who lost their lives, and president Bush’s aftermath speech set to the haunting background music, ‘Only Time’ by Enya. It is truly awesome.

I think Bo and Van jones are glad 9-11 happened, and now that we know van jones is a 9/11 Truther I think he takes that position so he and his radical base can take guilt away from the terrorists who murdered 3,000 people in New York. VJ and BO should be ashamed of themselves I kow I am.
How about for a day of service I make a collage of all the people who were murdered by Oslamic terrorsits on 9/11

To be fair- I beleive the public was tricked into voting this radical POTUS in. He did not run as a left wing radical. We'll see how this plays out, now that the people are waking up to this fact.
