September 11, 2001 was a defining moment for me and everyone in my generation. We were young and watched something we could have never imagined. It will imprint us and our politics for the rest of our lives, which is what the Democrats are afraid of. Yes, I will remember it: as a day when Islamic terrorists attacked American soil; a day of patriotism; a day to honor the fallen; a day to thank a soldier; a day to be thankful for my family; and a day to work and to live … not as a day to turn it into a platform for socialism.

This “day of service” thing is disgusting. Americans went in and helped each other because they were Americans, brought up in the Judeo-Christian tradition of aiding their fellow man, not because they were socialists carrying out a government program. Obama and all his minions make me sick.

I think Obama actually said Americans should observe a day of “serve us.”
This President is tone deaf. His popularity is plummeting and anyone who has watched the town hall debates understand that lots of folks just don’t trust Obama. People are comparing him to Hitler and Lenin, complaining that he’s surrounded himself with Communists and wonder aloud if he hates America. His commie green czar has just been shamefully exposed and forced to step down.
Yet, he goes forward with plans to address America’s children, and all the parents are allowed to see (at least as originally planned) are the teachers’ canned lesson plan asking the children how they can serve Obama. Then the great “O” unveils his plan to make 9/11 a “service day.”
I’m not afraid of him anymore. He has no subtlety, which is essential for great evil to florish. These guys are amateurs.

One would wonder if there wasn’t a more pointed original speech planned for 9/8 which would have served as a kick off for the first 9/11 Service Day.

Jimmy Carter had the same problem. When someone is that clueless it’s really tough to be successful in leadership. People start to dislike you and after that you can’t hardly do anything right.
