Title: Immigration / "Illegal Immigrants Can Buy Homes" (Indocumentados Pueden Comprar Casa) by Delinés Batlle
(BEGIN TRANSLATION) PUBLISHED: September 7, 2005 at 12:11 pm (ET) UPDATED: 30 September 2005, at 9:16 am (eastern)
NEW YORK, NY. -- Thanks to an initiative of private banking it is now possible for illegal immigrants to buy homes in the United States without having a social security number.
A new program helps immigrants who can not afford home to fulfill their American dream.
Elena Hernandez has long had the dream of buying a home, but has not succeeded, she said not to have immigration papers.
The Mexican immigrant said: "I believe I have closed the doors to buy a house because I have a card from social insurance number, so without social security number can not do anything."
Historically, immigrants who have purchased home in the United States have done so under some risk, with false documents or with the help of others.
"There are people who do have their own, but are in the name of another person who does have legal documents.
But now Citigroup have joined ACORN, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform , to help immigrants to buy your house even without social security number.
What if the ITIN is needed, the number that gives the federal government for people without Social Security can pay their taxes.
"They should bring copies of 2 recent bank statements, 3 most recent check stubs and tax returns for the last 2 years."
Furthermore, it should be 3 or 4 lines of credit, although that include rent receipts, electricity or water.
The advantages of having these mortgages available to certain undocumented, is that one need only have 3% down payment or initial payment and get an interest rate down to 1 point lower than in the market.
It is important that all concerned know that this new program is available only through the centers of ACORN Housing Corporation, in the following communities:
New York -- New Jersey -- Bridgeport, CT -- Washington DC -- Miami -- Baltimore, MD -- Chicago -- California
For more information, please visit the Internet ACORN HOUSING and under "ACORN Housing and Citigroup Partner on Remarkable Home Loan Product" for more information. For the office nearest you see ACORN in Spanish.

Republican Members of Congress should demand it Friday morning in special press conferences.
How can we translate it to archive it ?

Just archive the Spanish first, it would seem.
Now perhaps the public understands a major reason for the thousands of empty homes in Arizona. The ACORN office in Tucson, Arizona, and its storefrontmortgage buddies should be a target for investigation. Oh, I forgot, the Justice Department is headed by a corrupt racketeer and manned by fascist politicans in waiting.
Catch it quick before they take it down
I need technical help on this. 300 people are reading this thread. Hopefully a Freeper will have archived it by now and will report a) that it is done and b) where it is mirrored/stored for safe keeping.
Yo quiero McMansion!
ACORN is a domestic terrorist organization.
With, or without a clever, new name change (COI) them boys is going DOWWWWWWN.
FReep mail me if you want on/off the list.
I saved a copy on my hard drive. In IE, Alt-F and Save As. I can send you a copy if you want.
The banks have been helping illegals get loans for houses for a long time, without the help of ACORN. They all need to go down.

And Bank of America is in bed with ACORN as well:

Thanks for saving. Standby for now. I doubt Telemundo would try to take this down, but you NEVER know!
This is an outrageous betrayal of American taxpayers by the federal government. It’s intentional. Our own government is trying to take the country down. Where are the patriots?
Boycott Citibank, too, and everyone tell them exactly why.
Months ago people were pointing out how large a role illegals had played in the housing crisis, not just by buying homes they couldn’t afford, but also with scams where they were “flipping” them as well. In the end, the house was vacant and hundreds of thousands of dollars (per house) had disappeared. So many “Americans” were complicit in this sh!t (as they are in hiring illegals as well), it turns your stomach.
Wachovia even caved into their domestic terrorism in September 2008

And again, on BoA:
Bank of America, who became an ACORN partner in 1990, pay annual dues to ACORN totaling in the millions. Bank of America also engaged in what some are now calling questionable lending practices that led to the current mortgage crisis. According to the Consumers Rights League report:
Although it is a strictly enforced feature in other banks and products, Bank of Americas policy toward undocumented income is very flexible. ACORN Housing counselors establish the amount, source and conduct verification of such income, without questioning from underwriters The consequences can be beneficial or detrimental counselors need to be careful at providing undocumented income letters, as it can hurt the applicant(s) in the future.
In December of 2006 Eric Eve, who is listed on the program as Senior Vice-President, Citigroup, spoke to a gathering of ACORN staff on the Value of Partnerships.
In 2002 Project Vote received a donation of 645 shares of Bank of America Stock valued at $37,909.50 and Matthew Vadum at the Capital Research Center, reported that the following banks fund ACORN Housing (another feeder organization):
JP Morgan Chase Foundation ($5,007,500 plus at least $300,000 to separate state-level ACORN-affiliated housing nonprofits),
Bank of America Charitable Foundation Inc. ($1,405,000),
US Bancorp Foundation ($285,000, plus $470,000 to ACORN Housing Corp. of Illinois),
PNC Foundation ($95,000),
Wachovia Foundation ($5,000).
Provident Bank Foundation Inc. ($5,000 to New Jersey ACORN).
Check out this from the Consumers Rights League. It will make your head spin.

Let’s bring them down, boys!
