WASHINGTON (CNN) President Barack Obama says ACORN misdeeds captured on secretly taped videos should be investigated, but that the controversy over the community service group was not occupying much of his time.
In an interview broadcast Sunday on the ABC program "This Week," Obama was asked if he supported cutting off all federal funding for ACORN an acronym for the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now due to the incriminating videotapes.
"What I saw on that video was certainly inappropriate and deserves to be investigated," Obama said.

LOL nice picture.
I really don’t believe Obozo can throw ACORN under the bus. They at least in part, own him.
Uh... it’s not a bus. It’s an iceberg.
Along with Van Jones and Reverand Wright,
ACORN is a juggernaut lying just under
the surface, ready to sink whatever comes in
contact with it.
I don't agree with Obama's policies, but if he does at least allow legitimate investigations into ACORN's antics, I won't criticize him for it.
“What I saw on that video was certainly inappropriate and deserves to be investigated,” Obama said. (as soon as I resign and am safely in Argentina)
Getting crowded under there.
If this is ‘inappropriate,’ then murders are ‘bothersome.’
0bama did not throw ACORN under the bus. He is a lawyer and speaks clintonspeak. He could have meant that investigations need to be on entrapment.
1)Quash local investigations. A Federal investigation trumps local jurisdiction.
2)Subpoena all relevant evidence. That includes ALL video, whether or not it has been aired.
3) Ban cameras from the courtroom. We don't want this trial to be conducted by the media, do we?
4)Gag order. Anyone who even considers talking about ACORN gets jail time. Interviews? You gotta be kidding.
5) When the public can't recall either ACORN or Obama, you might conclude the investigation and release findings.
I think the chances are zero to none that obama will allow funds to acorn be cut and or allow a whitewashed investigation be made if even that. He owes acorn too much and he is not about to do anything to prevent fraudulent votes from being cast for the dems.
Eric Holder is the one who will stonewall the need for an investigation/prosecution. He will be the "Bad Cop."
0bama needs to be investigated for his ties to ACORN. What advice did he give them as a lawyer? What did he do before that when he worked as one of their activists? What part did he have in creating the structure that ACORN now has?
Actually he was careful not to say who should be investigated.
I’m betting he was thinking about how those evil right wing journalists should be investigated for violating ACORN’s right to privacy.
I don’t agree with Obama’s policies, but if he does at least allow legitimate investigations into ACORN’s antics, I won’t criticize him for it.
This sounds fair enough on the surface but there is no way that the evil one is going to throw Acorn under the bus so to speak. He will only appear to be acting out of genuine concern about their alleged misdeeds but they were a significant force in getting him elected and he will continue to use them to further his un-American agenda. Obama is a dishonorable character and will stoop to whatever low necessary to push his socialist agenda.
Time for the Night of the Long Knives, Obama Style.
Holder will spend all of 2-3 seconds before declaring, “nothing to see here, move along, they are clean, it is Glenn Beck and FOX that are in the wrong and we are charging him with being naughty. 25 years in solitary.
Move along, bye, bye!
