Sarah Palin welcomes home Strykers, including son (Video at Link)

FAIRBANKS, Alaska -- Former Gov. Sarah Palin attended Thursday afternoon's welcome home ceremony for the 1st Stryker Brigade from Fort Wainwright at the Carlson Center.
The appearance is Palin's first in the United States since resigning her office in July. Palin's oldest son, Track, is a member of the brigade that recently returned from a yearlong deployment in Iraq.
Current Gov. Sean Parnell, who took over for Palin, was among the officials scheduled to speak at the Thursday afternoon public event.
A memorial unveiled Wednesday at Fort Wainwright bears the names of 12 soldiers who died during the deployment. Seven were stationed at Fort Wainwright and five were attached to the brigade.
The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner reports the monument also bears the name of a dog, Sgt. Jok, killed by a bomb while searching a house.

There is some video coming down to C4P from the live feed that apparently shows Palin getting mobbed by the troops at the end of the ceremony.
You might want to check back at C4P tonight for that.

Ah, the video at link doesn’t show Palin. It’s just part one. I’d love to see Palin at the ceremony. Someone at C4P has it. They're trying to get it to the mods over there to post.

AWESOME I Can’t wait to see it. Just another reason why I LOVE this woman. She cares so much about our troops. I Bet she was so happy and relieved to see her son home safe. God Bless the entire Palin family

Don’t know what KTUU’s problem is. Their problem is that they're libtard NBC'ers who don't want to show anything favorable about Sarah Palin.
