Lawmaker cusses out fellow Missourian in House

WASHINGTON – Show me some civility, Republicans cried Friday after a Missouri congressman speaking on the House floor was caught on microphone apparently cussing out a fellow Missourian.

Armed Services Committee Chairman Ike Skelton, D-Mo., had just finished addressing his Republican colleague Todd Akin Thursday.

Skelton then turned to the side and muttered "stick it up your (insert word that rhymes with mass)."

The comment was just audible on the C-SPAN tape of the proceedings and was not included in the Congressional Record, the official record of speeches on the House and Senate floor.

per a spokeswoman, the remark was not intended for public consumption and was the result of heated debate... OOOps.

Don’t worry, Lindsey Graham and John McCain will go apologize on behalf of the GOP. Right now, Orrin Hatch is trying to figure out which staffer he can fire over this clear issue of gross Republican misbehavior, and Pelosi is preparing yet another condemnation of Joe Wilson.

One wonders if Rep. Skelton will be forced by Nancy Pelosi to apologize.

Shelton is a "conservative Democrat"--a real oxymoron if there ever was one. He's had an easy ride since 1976 but has voted for Cap and Trade and he's going to have Republican competition this time round.

He'll probably win again, but THIS TIME HE IS GOING TO HAVE TO SPEND SOME MONEY INSTEAD OF SENDING IT TO OTHER DEMOCRATS!
