Iran: Israel's threats inexplicable(Iran the Victim Barf Alert)

Iran's ambassador to the UN, Mohammad Khazaee, sent a letter of protest to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moonin which he wrote that "there is no explanation for Israel's continuing threats against Tehran".

He was referring to an interview given by former Deputy Defense Minister Ephraim Sneh to the Sunday Times in which he said that if Iran were not further sanctioned by this Christmas Israel would attack the country.

Sneh told the paper that if Israel were forced to attack the Islamic Republic on its own it would do so, remarks the Iranian ambassador deemed "irresponsible".

He said he hoped the UN would take steps against such comments. "Remarks such as these, stated once in a while by Israeli leaders, are no more than sorry excuses aimed at avoiding supplying answers regarding Israel's nuclear arsenal and deflecting public awareness from the crimes and terror Israel commits in the region," he said.

Khazaee once again stressed that his country's nuclear program was intended for peaceful purposes and said that "the only threat in the region is Israel's nuclear arsenal, which remains unsupervised to this day".

Iran threatens Israel's very existence daily and yet when Israel speaks of defending itself against Iran's stated aggression, Iran with the support of the UN condemns Israel. I'm sure there will be more UN sanctions issued against Israel.

Iran’s nuclear weapons development depends on fears of freight fuel (oil) prices rising. As soon as globalism starts to fall hard enough, Iran will be history.

What is truly outrageous is the fact that Iran is the primary supplier of IEDs used against our troops. We have caught Iran red-handed in Iraq (and probably Afghanistan) with troops and materiel.

Now, our Commander-In-Chief sits down and talks with the same people who were complicit in killing and maiming our troops.

If liberals were as outraged by the “number” of deaths and injured in Iraq (remember the nightly count?), they should be apalled at talking with the people primarily responsible for those deaths and injuries.

But we know that their outrage was political, not genuine.

Yup - it is intellectually acceptable via the UN to threaten Israel daily but Lordy, Lordy, if Israel threatens back somehow "there is no explanation."

Oh, yeah, no explanation at all. Well, they might consider the fact that most all the top, supreme leader sorts in Iran since the original old Ayatollah Khomeini was escorted home by Jimmy Carter have stated that Israel should be wiped off the map. Other than 30+ years of hearing threats that she should be wiped off the map, Israel has no reason at all to speak ill of Iran. (Well, there is also that little thing about Hezbollah in Lebanon, and ...)

Never forget that when Jimmy Carter bumbled his way into the Oval Office in January 1977, Iran was a strong U.S. ally, a force for stability in the region, a bulwark against Soviet expansionism, had NO hostile intentions against Israel, and Iranian society was a modern, secular 20th century entity, the Shah of Iran was our friend, Iran was respected on the world stage by friend and foe alike.

By the time the Buffoon from Georgia left office, Iran had been transformed into our enemy, the Islamofascist mullahs had a modern nation-state in their grip, Iranian society was on it’s way back to the 9th Century, and Iran became a force for INstability in the Middle East, a state sponsor of terrorism, and a threat to the continued existence of Israel.

All of this because Jimmy Carter (who actually had MORE experience than does Comrade 0bama right now), stabbed the Shah in the back, called the Ayatollah Khomeini a ‘godly man’ and laid the foundations for the Islamic jihad that was launched against the West. Not only that, but during the 4 years of impotence that defined the Carter misAdministration, the Soviets were emboldened to invade Afghanistan, Iraq was nudged into launching the 8 year Iraq-Iran War as a ham handed effort by Carter’s national security advisor (ol’ Zbigniew himself) to put pressure on Tehran which was still holding our hostages.

Today, we see the mullahs little runt of a sock puppet Ahmadinnerbiscuit calling for the wiping out of Israel practically every other day, and not one peep out of the Useless Nations, but with not so subtle encouragement from the Communist in the White House, the U.N. is ramping up the pressure on Israel and tragically, Israel is going to find itself standing alone against her enemies.

But as dark as the days ahead will become for Israel, the final thing to remember is that Israel constitutes GOD’S people, and those who raise their hand against Israel are going to reap the harvest of Divine Wrath, believe that.

Actually a valid point.

So Israel should reveal ALL of her state secrets about weapons capacity, troop counts, etc. to the UN (!) and the rest of the world?

I’m so sure Putin, Ahmahaveajihad, Hamas, Hezbollah et al would LOVE to have that report! But surely the UN would keep all that information CONFIDENTIAL and SECRET, right??

[crickets chirping loudly]

Don’t play poker much, do you?

I don’t see how you get such a recommendation from my comment that Israel isn’t exactly the most appropriate party to denounce nuclear proliferation.

You know what? Israel exists in a sea of Islam, by the Grace of God...I have no problem with Israel denouncing a country that continually attacks them verbally and also provides $$$$$$$, weapons, etc to her enemies (Hamas, Hezbollah) to 'wipe Israel off the map'. Some things should remain secret because if the enemies knew exactly what Israel has weapon-wise, there are plenty of countries who would be glad to provide MORE than that to destroy God's People! (I count Putin in that equation, isn't it nice that Iran is planning to send it's enriched uranium to Russia?)

This map doesn't include Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan... pray for the peace of Jerusalem!
