Obama’s GITMO Maneuverings

Folks, this is the critical moment we have been waiting for. Many concerned citizens in Standish and all across Michigan are holding their breath to see what’s next for their state. Sources on the ground say that “Standish Max” prison is being emptied out now and will be completely empty and shut down by the end of October. Is this the empty prison Obama has been looking to put the GITMO terrorists?

The people of Michigan, who hear the rumors circulating day by day, know that an empty prison and a President desperate to make good on his campaign promises are not a good combination; tensions and fears are running high.

But residents will begin to fight back this week when they stand up and boldly hold Town Hall meetings in two cities this upcoming week.

Can we stop Obama? As incredulous as it sounds, ask the people of Fort Leavenworth, Kansas what they think. Fort Leavenworth and the military prison there looked like Obama’s favored location, but local officials and citizens were so staunchly opposed that they successfully staved off all attempts to move the terrorists there.  Because of the economic situation, Standish is in a tougher situation, but that doesn’t mean the people of Michigan deserve to be forced to house these murderous terrorists.

RALLY INFORMATION IN MICHIGAN

The Michigan Coalition to Stop GITMO NORTH is a group of concerned citizens dedicated to stopping this menace from coming to their state. They don’t want terrorists in their backyards, and why should they? No other state wants to house these ruthless murderers – they DON’T BELONG on AMERICAN SOIL.

There are two rallies coming up Monday and Tuesday. It is vital that there be a strong showing of support for our troops and for keeping GITMO terrorists out of the United States! We MUST turn out as many people as possible so that it sends the message that terrorists are NOT welcome in Michigan!

I cannot overemphasize how important it is for us to support these organizers in Michigan and make sure these rallies are a success. Please tell everyone you know that this will be happening, even if you don’t live in Michigan, we have to let people know that there we have boots on the ground fighting this battle!

Let’s get real about GITMO for a second here. I’ve read all the analysts and heard the arguments.  But we know it’s a bad idea, and that the terrorists are too dangerous to be kept on America soil. 

But we should consider the philosophical implications.

By that, I mean let’s be frank… Bringing the terrorists here, it would be like a slap in the face to every 9/11 family, every victim of terrorism worldwide, every one of our troops who made that ultimate sacrifice…to keep America safe from terrorists. And for what? So Obama could just bring the terrorists here on a government jet to satisfy his leftist primary supporters?

Let’s show them we mean business and support these rallies.  We want GITMO to stay open and hold the terrorists there, not on US soil.

Obama Administration Plan
for “GITMO NORTH”

Despite the clear evidence that terrorists are better kept at Guantanamo Bay, the Obama Administration is determined to bring these cutthroat murderers into the United States where they can take advantage of the American justice system.  Because of a huge public outcry, they are trying to hide which prison or prisons in the U.S. could be receiving terrorists only a few months from now – throwing all pretenses of transparency out the window. 

Our sources have told Move America Forward that Standish, Michigan, is almost certain to receive some of these terrorists UNLESS Americans rise up and oppose this foolish plan – a plan conceived during the Obama political campaign to appease his most leftist supporters. 

Fortunately, the people of Michigan are not lying down and giving up.  They are fighting back, even though some of their own political leaders have been encouraging terrorists being located there.  They foolishly believe it will help the economy by growing their prison.  How shortsighted can you get?

Just days ago, the Arenac County Board of Commissioners approved the following resolution which was then adapted for the city of Standish and forwarded to the Standish City Council for consideration at a secretly held emergency meeting held last night.

RESOLUTION #09-22

A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE TRANSFER OF FEDERAL DETAINEES AND PRISONERS TO THE STANDISH MAXIMUM FACILITY PRISON

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Standish endorses efforts by the State of Michigan and the United States of America to reach an agreement to utilize the Standish Maximum Prison for the detainment of current Federal detainees and prisoners held in Federal facilities. And/or use by the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

ADOPTED THIS 15TH DAY OF OCTOBER, 2009.

The only thing that kept this resolution from being adopted at the recent emergency city council meeting was that not enough of the council showed up and they could not form the quorum necessary to do city business! The city and county governments are working with Obama’s administration to QUIETLY set the stage for Obama’s final decision to move the terrorists, and they are ignoring anyone – even local citizens – who protest!

When it came to Standish Max and the topic of Guantanamo Bay detainees being held there, most of the people in attendance were clear in their opposition and encouraged the city to hold off passing a resolution supporting the transfer of federal detainees to Standish Max until more information is available.

“We’re not getting any answers from our Governor, Rep. Stupak, no one,” said city resident Kelly Kimball.

Kimball was armed with a poster, which showed the effect transferring Gitmo detainees to Standish would have if a one-mile radius surrounding the prison needed to be seized by the federal government as well. She added that she spoke with a city manager in Leavenworth, Kan., where a Federal Bureau of Prisons facility is located, and said the manager told her five miles were cleared in every direction around the facility.

“If it’s Gitmo, they’re cutting stuff down because they need to see. I’m a tree-hugger… I don’t want Gitmo here,” she said. “I don’t want to see people lose their homes. I don’t want to see a bunch of kids get blown up.”

The residents of Standish still showed up and protested these moves, but outside of Standish, the mass media has been extremely quiet about what the federal government has been up to in Michigan. Even within the state of Michigan, in cities like Detroit, Lansing, Saginaw, and Grand Rapids, the information coming out about Standish is very scarce.

Michigan is suffering from a budgetary crisis that they are locked in. The state of Michigan has the highest unemployment rate in the country, and the state budget is a huge mess. The battle over Michigan budget dominates the state news agencies. On a national scale Obama and his health care bill still dominate.

It’s just like Rahm Emmanuel said, “Never waste a good crisis.”

Obama and his justice department led by Eric Holder, are attempting to use these huge debates as a smoke screen so they can fly terrorists into America under the radar!

It’s time to WAKE PEOPLE UP, we need to ANGRY ABOUT THIS and QUICK! The longer we wait, the bolder Obama will get and he could possibly ram this down America’s throat before anyone really notices.

Sadly, some in Standish feel it’s already to late to fight Obama.

“If they (federal government) want that place, then I guess we have nothing to say about it,” he said. “If they want it, they’re going to get it.”

Wrong! We can do something about this! From the example provided by the tea party movement, we know that public outcry and massive opposition can encourage more debate, can make our leaders think twice about what they do.  We can STOP Gitmo in America!

Many legislators are skeptical of Obama’s plans already, the American people are overwhelmingly against Obama’s Gitmo Plan. The only people in support of it are Obama himself, the desperate leaders of Standish who mistakenly see GITMO as the answer to their money problems, and of course the terorrists themselves waiting in GITMO, itching for the freedom to kill again, they can almost taste it.

By showing a VOCAL and BOLD display of outcry and backlash, we can give our congress the confidence to stand up to Obama and his administration. They can stop him if they have our support! We can stop the Standish city council if we just lend our support to the good people of Standish who are working to oppose Obama.

I'd say if Michigan gets 'em (God help us), these terrorists ought to come with a big-ass payout from the Federal government (read: enough money from the other 49 states that us in Michigan wouldn't need to pay income taxes again), over-market buyout of all homes in Standish, and deputizing and arming of all citizens in the area.

Bottom line: our government better not be taking them at cost. This needs to be a mega-millions-scale lottery payout.

Take a look at MI county by county.
If we shaved off Detroit, MI would be a red state.

But let’s just take the party affiliation out of the mix. Standish is 147 miles from Dearborn. Walking through Dearborn is like walking through a Muslim country. Going there during the Arab International Festival is an eye opener. You will see booths manned by both Hezbolla and Hamas, openly recruiting. Just a tiny short drive from there and one can almost walk across the Detroit River to Canada.

Now let’s look at this picture. Our “Peaceful” Arab friends in Dearborn go swimming in the middle of summer in the Lake Erie Metroparks (if you go there you will see groups of Middle Eastern men toking on Hukas and their Hijibbed women grilling) They pull across a whole bunch of munitions in a rowboat. No one notices. (trust me, no one will)

They and a whole bunch of their friends take a day trip up the MI coast and bust their buddies out of the high security prison.

If these terrorists weren’t so close to Dearborn, their friends gliding down the highway might look a bit suspicious. Not here in MI. You see a van full of Middle Easterners and it’s just another day here. Once they’re out, they can go anywhere. Shave a beard, some western clothes, a new car from another friend and they are good to go.

I’m really near Sterling Heights MI. We have tons of Chaldean Catholics here.

They are even more hated than any other Non-Muslims. When they are freaking out, so am I.

I don’t put a Beslin type incident here to get the high profile prisoners released.
