Obama EPA releases Bush-era global warming finding

WASHINGTON (AP) - A controversial e-mail message buried by the Bush administration because of its conclusions on global warming surfaced Tuesday, nearly two years after it was first sent to the White House and never opened.

The e-mail and the 28-page document attached to it, released Tuesday by the Environmental Protection Agency, show that back in December of 2007 the agency concluded that six gases linked to global warming pose dangers to public welfare, and wanted to take steps to regulate their release from automobiles and the burning of gasoline.

What’re they going to do when global temps take a nose dive due to a solar minimum?

Same thing that they have been doing all along. Lie.

Thats why its called “Climate Cange” now. Didn’t you get the memo?
This change allows for the temperature to go up or down and still it be our fault.

I’d like to watch them explain how increased carbon in the atmosphere (which plants need to survive) cause both warming and cooling simultaneously.

Does anyone know what the #1 Green House Gas is?

No, It’s Not Carbon Dioxide.

It’s Water Vapor.

How long would the Inhabitants of Earth last if we could only rid ourselves of this Dangerous Water Vapor?

Not very Damn Long.

Don’t give ‘em any ideas now - they’ll tax water boiling if they get a whiff of that!

Geez...I think one of the green cars releases water vapor. IIRC, It’s suppose to be a good thing...

To me It would seem that we have an Ideal environment to grow some crops.

A good supply of Water Vapor and a slightly elevated level of C02.

CO2 levels are still increasing, slowly but average Global Temperature has been going down since 1998.

Now why would that be?

Could it be that CO2 is not the causative factor in Global Warming?

What other Factors might have been left out of the Models?

Or was it because they cherry picked Data from 12 Trees out of 200?

You'll get no argument from me.

What scares me though, is the fanaticism that climate changers exhibit with such ideas as spreading mirrors out in orbit to reflect sunlight away from the planet or doing things to our oceans which could have very profound effects on life.

something smells here.

A garbage incineration plant pours smoke into the sky above Amsterdam. Rich countries must raise their emissions reduction targets by 10 percent for global warming to be arrested at two degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels, a Dutch environmental agency said on Wednesday.
