What do leftist documentary maker Robert Greenwald, Little Green Footballs blogger Charles Johnson, and Daily Beast contributor Max Blumenthal have in common?
They all peddled malicious, false quotes attributed to Rush Limbaugh and are unrepentant about furthering false information regarding the talk show host.

And they will all be penniless soon, along with Sanchez, Wolfy and Miss Chrissy Matthews.
Figures.
Whats happened with that guy? Seems that a few years ago he was pretty much on our side...
What do you expect? Charles Johnson turned into the biggest 9/11 Truth defender on the internet. He almost broken his back spinning for Van Jones. I give him under a year before he’s claiming the holocaust didn’t happen.
"There will be no retraction. The quote is disputed, but it has not been proven false. And there are plenty of other racist quotes that you seem to be just gliding right past that are NOT disputed."
They traced the quote back to the book it came from where no details were found.
Limbaugh May Have Grounds for Libel Suit, Legal Analysts Say
""Slavery built the South," Limbaugh was reported to have said. "I'm not saying we should bring it back. I'm just saying it had its merit. For one thing, the streets were safer after dark."
That purported statement, according to Post-Dispatch columnist Bryan Burwell, came from a 2006 book, "101 People Who Are Really Screwing America," by John Huberman, which does not provide specific details regarding the quote."
I hope Rush sues and names Charles Johnson among others.
"Fell asleep next to an alien vegetable"...
I haven’t read LGF for over a year. Apparently someone on the far left has a picture of Johnson with an aardvark.
Just another Huffington wannabe.
I used to read it and post comments. He sort of went off the deep end awhile ago. Don’t know what happened. I am concerned about the people who don’t realize how much he has changed.
Charles Johnson is a child rapist. Until he proves he is not.
I was just watching an old South Park & it just came to me - Little Gay Faggots...
What a doofus.
I am so glad I stopped clicking over to his site. It used to be a daily thing with me after the exposing of the Dan Rather fraud papers which, at the time, I thought his site was responsible for. He truly has become a foaming at the mouth idiot in the past year or so, hasn’t he?
He was one who helped expose the bogus memos, but he certainly is not conservative.
“The quote is disputed, but it has not been proven false.”
I find it ironic Charles Johnson gained notoriety by Dan Rather’s “fake but accurate” baloney. Now Liberal Green Footballs is peddling the same slop.
Johnson ought to know better. He got caught with his pants down on this and is getting defensive.
