I salute all military individuals.

What you train for, what you endure, and what you fight for takes discipline beyond my understanding.

Perhaps it doesn't affect you or perhaps you won't let it ever show in public, but I can't think of a harder thing to do for ANY member of the military than to accept an award from despicable cowards like Bill Clinton & Hussein Obama.

For Alpha Troop could have simply evacuated their comrades and left that enemy bunker for another day to ambush another American unit.

I suppose no one mentioned that he's leaving the Afghanistan troops to be ambushed on another day because of his deliberate delay in sending reinforcements.

The way our military heroes are treated is disgraceful.
These medals need to awarded soon after they are earned, not decades later as an after thought. My best friend died 3 years ago (October 2006). He was a cobra gunship pilot in Vietnam. He received his silver star 2 weeks before his death from cancer. He should have had it 39 years earlier.
