Is that any way for the President of the United States to talk? (I mean a real President.)

Precisely my thought, too. This man talks like a low life ‘hood community organizer. Not the leader of the free world. It is pathetic and embarrassing for our nation.
No, it’s not. Not at all. Politics is a rough sport but it’s way out of line for a president to talk about marginalizing Americans who disagree with him. This president has basically put half the country on his enemies list (and not just with this statement). When he says we “pretend”, he is calling us liars, which is both insulting and false. Obama is one angry dude who shouldn’t be anywhere near the oval office.
The polls seem to suggest it is not we who are becoming marginalized, liar. We think that you owe us honesty that we are not receiving.
If Bush had said this, the press would have gone into hysterics, Hollywood would be taking this up as the latest cause. Zero does this, they cheer him on hoping he will include them in the slice of power.
In 0bambi's world, people who espouse a different position are not merely to be disagreed with, they are to repudiated, demonized, career assassinated, with their wealth taken from them, ostensibly for redistribution, but the first stop is always the government.

This is absolutely no way for an American president to talk or behave. He's made enemies out of and gone after Americans with reasonable, defensible positions.
He deserves impeachment on January 22, 2010!
