At the end of the day, it was a DOG. Nothing more. Nothing less. To raise it to the status of a human being is ludicrous.
Yeah... I’m sad about the dog, and realize they do a LOT for military and law enforcement, but to face life in prison for killing one? That’s just NOT right, IMHO — like cruel and unusual punishment stuff. They don’t even give PEDOPHILES life sentences, rapists, or even murderers in some cases, but kill a police dog and you’ll never see outside the bars again? Nope, that’s not justice, IMHO.
