In an interview published today, The Atlantic describes Gore Vidal as “a sharp provocateur, as irascible and irreverent as ever.”
I’m assuming that’s some kind of internal Atlantic-code for "twisted old has-been degenerate desperate for attention":
ATLANTIC: In September, director Roman Polanski was arrested in Switzerland for leaving the U.S. in 1978 before being sentenced to prison for raping a 13-year-old girl at Jack Nicholson’s house in Hollywood. During the time of the original incident, you were working in the industry, and you and Polanski had a common friend in theater critic and producer Kenneth Tynan. So what’s your take on Polanski, this many years later?
VIDAL: I really don’t give a f*ck. Look, am I going to sit and weep every time a young hooker feels as though she’s been taken advantage of?
Vidal then goes on to blame Polanski’s legal problems on… “an anti-Semitic and anti-fag thing...The idea that this girl was in her communion dress, a little angel all in white, being raped by this awful Jew, Polacko...”

This is exactly why we try to protect any child under the age of 18 from wicked tapettes who think nothing of innocents who are preyed upon by sexual predators like Polanski.
It doesn’t matter if the girl was a hooker. It matters that she was a very vulnerable child who was used as food by evil people.

These are the kind of words used by pedophiles to describe their victims to justify their sickness.
In vidal’s case he would describe HIS sexual conquest’s as little boy prostitutes.

The left is really drawing the line (and paying us a compliment if they only realised it, but they’re too depraved) by strictly holding those on the right to a high standard, while moving the bar lower and lower on their own behavior.
It seems to be undisputed that this girl was given Champagne and a strong medication before she was involved in what was at best termed non-consensual sex not limited to but including sodomy. The girl was not thought to have had sex before this incident.
I realize it’s open to some conjecture exactly what did take place. It is true that Polanski did plead guilty to statutory rape.
Despite this, Gore Vidal calls the young woman a whore, then states this is actually an unfair attack on a Jewish man.
As a defender of Jews and Israel, Vidal’s comment are unacceptable. If Rush Limbaugh had made these comments, he’s have been castrated before dawn tomorrow.
Vidal may actually deserve it. I’ve seldom seen a more insensitive comment about a virgin girl who was allegedly subjected to non-consensual rape involving sodomy.
Evidently the Vidal Court jury of one verdict came in, and she’s the guilty party. As such, it looks like the Muslim people who execute their women after they are raped, run in the same direction as Gore Vidal.
One’s about as disgusting as the other...
