KSTP MN: Absentee Ballot Investigation - Mistakes & Changes Made
True North ^ | 10/30/2009 | Lassie

Posted on 10/30/2009 7:29:18 AM PDT by Minnesocold

KSTP investigated absentee ballot inconsistencies and reported their findings last night, and you can watch the video here. Many cities put up roadblocks to their investigation request -- and Bloomington threatened felony charges against KSTP if they reported on their findings. The most damning part is Sec. of State Mark Ritchie's denial of problems and response when asked to look at ballot envelopes and comment. "Ritchie first told us he could not read our examples, then said he wouldn't look at photocopies of absentee ballot envelopes."

A 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS investigation has found that mistakes made with absentee ballots in the contentious 2008 U.S. Senate recount between Al Franken and Norm Coleman are leading to changes in the way many votes will be counted in future elections.

5 EYEWITNESS NEWS contacted dozens of cities and counties around the metro area, asking to examine the absentee ballot return envelopes from the 2008 general election race that were accepted and rejected.

In two months of work, we found seven types of inconsistencies where absentee ballots were accepted and counted, even though their envelopes did not appear to strictly follow state law or the rulings issued by judges during the recount.

Though KSTP doesn't mention it, I will: Our SOS, Mark Ritchie was endorsed by ACORN. Newsmax highlights ACORN and George Soros assisting Ritchie in 2006.

Despite changes in absentee ballot training for election judges, Minneapolis and St. Paul need poll challengers, with extra vigilance November 3 where voter fraud is not only rampant, but a regular occurance. If you have time to give Tuesday, join up as a poll challenger - it's not too late to enlist.

Good for them...this is the ACORN/SEIU/Obama/Axelrod/Marxist way to win an election - you are welcome, Frankles - and the sooner the “free’ people of this Republic wise up to these tactics (wake up, Minn), the sooner our nation will recover from this crap...

"nothing to see here, move a long!"

So Acorn is cooking the books. Anyone surprised. I like the way that felony charges were threatened against the investigators, but "government" has been very slow to bring felony charges against ACORN. I really don't think that it is that hidden. The Democratic Party and ACORN should both be charged under RICO laws as being criminal enterprises operating across state boarders.

I don’t know what was worse, the Minnesota debacle or the trumped up “conviction” of Ted Stevens that was thrown out on appeal a few days after the election, in which Begich won by less than 1% (Ooops! Sorry ‘bout that Ted!)

Here We Go Again
If you live in Minnesota, as I do, this story has a depressingly familiar ring: "Democrats Ask New Jersey Secretary of State to Ignore Mismatched Signatures on Absentee Ballot Requests."

The state received about 150,000 absentee ballot applications this year. On about 2,300 of those applications so far, the signature on the request form did not match the signature on the voter's registration forms with the state.

In a development that is depressingly predictable, the New Jersey Democratic Party is asking the state to provide provisional ballots for all these voters. Those ballots, could, presumably, be used to overcome any narrow lead by Republican Chris Christie over Democrat Jon Corzine on Election Day.

A mass distribution of provisional ballots, at the request of a political party, would represent a significant change from established law.

It's a sad reality of our contemporary politics: If an election is close enough, the Democratic Party will steal it.

Only military should be allowed to absentee vote. Show up at the location and flip the switch.

Good for KSTP. No doubt Joe will be talking about this on his radio show this afternoon.

Only military should be allowed to absentee vote.
Except the dems know which way the military tends to vote, so instead we see articles like this:
Virginia Argues That They Don't Need To Send Out Military Absentee Ballots In Time To Vote
(Tar. Feathers. Democrats. Some assembly required.)

They cheated on behalf of Franken.

The sad part is that EVERYONE knows it.

And when this study proves that they cheated for Franken, nothing will come of it.
