East Bay voters on Tuesday will select a new member of Congress, and determine the fate of upscale downtown development in Walnut Creek and a host of school and other measures.
Slightly more than half of Contra Costa and Alameda county voters live in cities or other political districts with an election, including those in the vacant 10th congressional district, San Ramon and Walnut Creek.
<snip>
The highest-profile race is undeniably the runoff to replace Ellen Tauscher in the 10th congressional district. Two-thirds of the heavily Democratic district is in Contra Costa, with smaller segments in Alameda, Solano and Sacramento counties.

I am also contacting the NRCC to ask why they are supporting Scozzafava in the race in upstate New York, and why they are ignoring David Harmer in this close race in California’s 10th district. Here are the numbers if anyone else wants to call:
Info from the NRCC "contact us" web page: Contact the NRCC

Also, perhaps those of us who donated to the RNC or RCCC should ask for our money back so we can support the conservative candidates of our choice.

I wish Rush or Beck had mentioned this race. The GOP does nothing as usual. This GOP fellow could win.
The only way to stop this is for people to just stop contributing to, registering with, and supporting the "Democrat lite" party.
I have been trying Beck, Rush and Hannity all week. Can’t get through to mention this race.

Maybe others can try with me on Monday. Though it is a little late now.
I have double sided color copies of checks to Rubio, Harmer and Hoffman that I have obscured the account numbers on and written in red sharpie “I support conservative candidates.” Those are going in the return envelopes of the next RNC and NRCC fund raising packets. I think they throw out everything but the checks when they open the mail. Hopefully putting my message on a “check” will get the message to someone who reads it.

I suggest new header: Californication Communists to vote Tuesday!
Good job. Here in CA this race hasn’t been discused much. There hasn’t been any mention from the CA head of the party that I have received (get emails). I don’t comprehend why the Repubbie heads of each state party don’t do more.
Call the HEritage Foundation. This fellow is a HEritage guy and they run ads on Hannity. Sickening. What about Michael Savage?
I sent 2 friends on facebook a note who live in the East Bay area about voting for David Farmer...One friend is an active conservative and the other I’m not sure but put in a good word for Farmer and asked him to tell all his friends to go vote for Farmer...it’s word of mouth to everyone you know!
Go you mean David Harmer
Do you mean David Harmer
