A Gathering Storm?

A sign of hope?

Recent events suggest that things may (and I stress may) be looking up.

Despite the endorsement of the Democratic candidate by Scozzafava in NY 23, Conservative candidate Hoffman currently leads in Sienna College polling by 5 percentage points, with undecideds doubling from 9% to 18%.

In Virginia, the Republican candidate Bob McDonnell holds a commanding lead of 12% on his Democratic rival in a poll by the Richmond Times-Dispatch poll, with suggestions that his candidacy has coat-tails.

Even the liberal bastion of New Jersey is in play, with Republican Christie leading Corzine by two points, with independent Daggett holding 12% of the vote, with another 6% undecided. While Corzine could still pull this one out, the fact that this race is even in question suggests something is going on.

No way a Republican wins in NJ when the poll is that close.

Especially as Republicans vote only once per election.

The Obamao effect is rippling through America faster than Carter’s incompetent wake did. And just think, we’ve only begun to experience Obamao’s brand of new order lunacy. He is scaring the liberal hell out of Americans.

Maybe. If we can defeat amnesty. This is their ace in the hole.

I think that will be put on the back burner until after 2010, because it will create an angry blowback if done next year.

"He is scaring the liberal hell out of Americans."

Americans should be scared. This megalomaniac fascist is intent on the destruction of what is left of the Constitution of the United States. He is an anti-Christian liar and deceiver as is his handlers. He is the Manchurian Candidate of our time.

If {a very small if} the RNC is foolish enough to to call a Dem Loss in “NY 23” a win for the RNC & its “top-down party style”, they have real problems.

The RNC, and State Republican Leadership must INSIST on running opponents to all of their incumbent congress critters.the RNC should refuse to fund its incumbents that won’t debate their “Primary opponents”.

Hope you are right. The current angry blow back couldn’t get much angrier. IMHO getting illegal votes is the only thing that could keep them in office. Most Americans don’t want their country to end up as Detroit.
