People don't remember but the conflict in Kosovo built up over time, with increasingly violent incidents by the muslim minority driving the serbian majority to elect the hard liners. One such event, perhaps the one that broke the camels back, was when a muslim soldier in the army picked up his automatic weapon and strafed his entire barracks.

This isnt an isolated incident, it's part of a long term pattern that our media willfully ignores.
