Figures.
Obama strikes again. Most certainly one can tell much about someone by the company the one keeps.
Conflict of interest much?
"Today, I am proud to make two key personnel announcements for the U.S.. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) President Obamas intent to nominate David Heyman as Assistant Secretary for Policy and my appointment of Arif Alikhan as Assistant Secretary for Policy Development.

A Look at Iran
http://www.truthusa.com/IRAN.html
The NIAC is a regime front group plain and simple.
I .,.. am... IranMan....(cue guitar riffs)
The replaced the wrong boob.
0bama will easily set our intelligence back decades while assuring future administrations are targeted instead.
Expect to find our few remaining spies in the area dead.
No surprise. I’m just surprised it took zero this long to put this guy in. I’m sure the new guy will get as many State Department and Defense Department secrets to ahmanutjob.
“Representative Kirk (R-IL), spoke last week before the US Institute of Peace, and issued his allegation against NIAC saying: Regime-sympathizers like the National Iranian American Council (NIAC) came to Capitol Hill urging members of Congress to cut off U.S. funding for democracy programs in Iran. Democracy funding taints Iranian dissidents, they claimed, and only invites harsher crackdowns on the Iranian people. He provided no explanation backing up his statement, nor did he acknowledge that the foremost leaders of Irans pro-democracy movement have denounced the very same Congressional regime change fund that Kirk has championed.
NIAC communicated with Representative Kirks office immediately after his statement, requesting a retraction. His office refused to respond. “

“John Limbert is simply the best possible pick for that position.” -— the official neo-commie position.
No he’s the worst possible choice.
Limbert is a notorious sympathizer and promoter of Iran. Amazingly he was one of the US Embassy hostages held for 444 days in 1979/80. He went native very early in the 1960s; and his wife is Iranian.
Instead of representing the US to Iran he took it upon himself to represent Iran to the US.
After first escaping the fire in the US Embassy stairwell, he joined the crowd outside chanting Allah Aquba... and other such crazed Kohemeni (the evil swine) inspired nonsense.
The thing to remember here is almost unthinkable, but on the evidence, it’s inescapable.
Within the Obama administration, probably up to the Preisdent himself, there are many leftists who WANT Iran to get a nuclear weapon.
I suspect Limbert is of that (publicly unspoken) school.
Though he is, apparently, a decent guy on a personal level, by written accounts of the Hostage crisis. He is a bonafide Iran cultist. And clearly a longtime appeaser of a wicked regime.

If true it is very interesting & disturbing about John Limbert.

In the Iranian-American society, NIAC and Trita Parsi are know to represent the government of Iran. Though they claim otherwise, as mentioned in this article, NIAC’s position on many issues are aligned with those of Islamic Republic of Iran. NIAC is known in Iran as a lobbyist group for the Iranian government. Of course to save their face, after the world witnessed the brutal crackdown on the Iranian citizens by IRI, NIAC has come to speak out against the human rights violations by IRI.
Mr. Obama has decided NOT to be on the side of humanity by responding to the Iranian youth asking him to either choose the terrorist government of Iran or choose them. Obviously he showed he has chosen the terrorist government of Iran by hiring a NIAC’s advisor and ex-hostage John Limber. I believe Mr. President will come to regret this decision. The pro-democracy movement in Iran will NOT stop regardless of what Mr. Obama does but history will not be kind to him for not supporting this movment.

Regarding Trita Parsi, and NIAC.
“On January 18, 2008, Trita Parsi was asked why NIAC never takes any meaningful stand against human rights violations in Iran?
Trita Parsi in the clip below repsonded: “Let me first off tell you that NIAC is not a Human Rights Organization; this is not our expertise”.
