Was Fort Hood Barack Obama's fault?
Beaufort Observer ^ | 11/10/09 | staff

Sunday, November 8, we published a piece entitled The enemy within. On Monday we were treated to this. And as ABC (bless their souls) has reported, there is a definite connection between the murderer of Fort Hood and Anwar al Awlaki.

We would not advocate rounding up all Muslims and putting them in concentration camps. Not at all. But we would advocate identifying the individuals, organizations and institutions that harbor the Awlaki's and the Hasan's and deal with them effectively. Effectively enough to prevent another 9-11 or Fort Hood.

It turns out that Nidal Hasan had attended the same Muslim mosque that Awlaki was an iman at in Falls Church, Virginia while he was stationed in Washington. But that is really not the story here, in our opinion.

The real story is that this incident exposes a peep into what is going on in these Muslim mosques and in Muslim madrasahs both in this country and particularly around the world. Awlaki wrote: "Any decent Muslim cannot live, understanding properly his duties toward his Creator and his fellow Muslims and yet serve as a US soldier." And further: "In fact the only way a Muslim could Islamically justify serving as a soldier in the US army is if his intention is to follow the footsteps of men like Nidal

No more than Dubya & Rummy were responsible for Abu Ghraib.

"In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans, for example, have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging. They have been reminded that the history of immigration in this country has a dark underbelly; they need specific assurances that their citizenship really means something, that America has learned the right lessons from the Japanese internments during World War II, and that I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction." - Barack Hussein Obama

I can’t blame Obama directly. BUT, in the last year his adminisration has been in charge of the information and failed to act.

I blame it on congress, they’re the ones who have been tying up the military for years. Not just this congress, but going back 20-30 years. Look at all the ‘rules’ they impose on the military. Rush reported today, the justice department told the FBI they could not look into the terrorists’ gun buying in August, when clearly they knew he was up to no good. It all points to PC.

I believe his indecision and soft-on-war behavior emboldened those who had feared retribution during the Bush years.

Bush might have been slow to respond from the moment he heard of the hit while at the school; but he had resolve and a dead or alive mentality once the decision was made to go to war.

This guy has been a ticking time bomb in the army for a long time.

The same attitudes that fostered his presence in the army under Bush are sadly, even stronger now under O.

You dishonor our troops if you believe that rooting out traitors will cause a backlash against loyal muslim friends and allies. Thats not who we are. And furthermore you dishonor those muslim friends and allies serving alongside us by assuming they would be offended by rooting out traitors from among our own. Friends are not offended when you give guys like Hasan the boot. If they are, they aren’t a friend from the beginning and they probably need to be given the boot as well.

I’m hoping that people will finally get that.

YES. The buck stops with the president.
He’s been kissing muslim ass from the get-go. He is one of them. He has no feelings for those slain at Fort Hood.

The enemy within.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

The requirement to be a natural born citizen is in the Constitution for a reason... But...We the citizens do not have standing to ask about this.

Not only do elections have consequences but our Founding Fathers felt a president who was not natural born ( and therefore less than full allegiance to our nation) would also have consequences.

Damn right we hard stare them, Any sane person would. If you or I were walking down the street and see a urban youth wearing a hoodie and change direction to intercept you, I would profile him as a threat and become more aware.
Muslims have not done anything meaningful to make themselves Americans. they want to adopt Sharia law, they want school children to learn their rite, even though they cant even say a silent prayer in public school. They act like we owe them. They owe us an apology for all the misdeeds done in the name of that damn religion.
