If I were in charge of the military side of the information flow, I would not do anything to jeopardize sources, operations, personnel, strategy or tactics. If that means the defendants walk, so be it. The larger issue is the war itself - which will go on long after Obamao is relegated to the ash heap of history.
Exactly my point in #21. Better to let them walk and keep our methods to ourselves.
OTOH, I fully expect the most transparent administration in history to release the names, addresses and phone numbers of every single source we have world wide.
