Any republican who didn’t know who Holder was and what kind of person he is before confirmation has been asleep for the last 16 years.
DiGenova and Toensing hoped Holder would bring reform after incidents like the screwed up prosecution of Sen Stevens?? Did they really think Holder was the man to do this? If anything, the Justice dept. needs reform NOW. If there is another Republican president, his/her attorney general will be the one with a tremendous mess to clean up.
