Three unmarked police vehicles, with their lights and sirens on, were travelling 5 to 10 minutes ahead of the motorcade on Manhattan's West Side and were checking traffic before Biden passed en route to a television appearance on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart," chief police spokesman Paul Browne said.

I don’t understand how a “routine patrol” 15 minutes before the official motorcade, by unmarked cars using lights and siren, could have any effect on the motorcade itself. Traffic is anything but static and whatever they find the situation will be entirely different in 15 minutes. And why would they use lights and siren. Wouldn’t a quiet unobtrusive check of the route be more likely to turn up any threats or suspicious circumstances? Terrorists aren’t the sharpest knife in the drawer, especially the suicide type, but even the slowest one would know to hide when cars with lights and siren come rolling along.

Come on now, you know better than that, the LIMO was not made for a crash up derby car.
3 accidents in the last 2 weeks with the LIMO is getting out of hand, don't you know the tax payers pay for that damage ?
