Good news!

The bad news is that someone else already posted a similar article in Breaking News. Go to "latest posts," shift your eyes to the right side of your computer screen, scan down to "breaking news," and oh, what is that right below your post? (I think we both need more coffee!)

Oh, you mean something similar to the Q-ship the British used during World War I? Those Somali pirates will think twice REAL fast if they take on a supposed cargo ship and find out the hard way the ship bristles with a large number of 30 mm caliber Bushmaster II guns that could take on these pirates at up to 3,000 meters away.

Could some mariner please tell us why ships keep transiting through these pirate infested waters? Is there not a way around?

I wonder,Can this pirate problem be handled with drones?

Use the drones to keep tabs on these parent ships they use

,fire off a hellfire missle or two , and poof no more pirate ship.

Yes!

The same concept works well when it is applied to U S citizens with the right to carry. To resist that notion is not ignorance anymore, there is an agenda.

Not if your destination is an east African port (Mombasa) and you are coming in from the north.

Any time the good guys have the means {guns} to defend themselves, the cowards that are attacking unarmed vessels or little old ladies, turn tail and flee.

Security measures have ramped up......surprised the Somalis went after the Alabama again considering how the last attempt panned out.
