What if he actually has to shoot them? “Excuse me sir, may I place this behind your ear?”
Yes, a number of them. About half of them were jam-o-matics. For their magazine size they are quite large and quite heavy due to the inferior alloys they are made of. Several of the ones I shot that weren’t jam-o-matics were showing signs of peening and stress after 10 magazines or so.
Buying one is a bit silly when for about $30-50 more you can get a Walther P1 or a CZ P-01.
If it is not approved by The Constitution it is tyranny.
Now look at whose chickeennnnnnnnnnssss have come home to rooooooooooost!
Reality and consequences are a stone cold bitch.
RE: “not just in your family. I know several die hard dims who are scared to death, especially after the decision to have the trial in NYC.”
***************
the NYC area dims I know don’t like the sound of NYC trial but are still trying to rationalize it. They both work in the city, midtown. They live in Yonkers so think they are ‘safe.’ Hey, Yonkers IS a whole 10 miles north of the city -— LOL
Please let me know where I can purchase a Walther P1 and CZ P-01 for $180 to $200 each!
A Savage model 340, a great gun and it is too bad they don't still make it.
I have several high recoiling rifles but fear they will put the old pace maker out of business, so I shoot what I can now. Take care.
Assuming they sill have any in stock, Bachmann Pawn and Gun of Dallas Texas. They have arsenal-refinished surplussed P1s for $180 and $199 will net you a P01.
They were far from the only people in the area selling them at those prices, either. Some were cheaper, they were the one I had my friend by from as they were closest in case of any problem.
As there is a gun show in Dallas this weekend, I may go pick up a couple of their P1s.
If recoil is a problem and you would like to shoot a shotgun, look into the Saiga shotgun lineup.
Article says, “The total is probably more as NICS background checks may cover the purchase of more than one gun at a time.”
Reality—The total is probably MUCH MUCH MORE as valid purchase/carry permits issued by many states do not require that NICS background checks be performed when transferring a firearm. Mine’s good for three years and required by the state for a handgun purchase but optional for a long gun purchase.
I’m very surprised by those prices! P1s consistently sell on Gunbroker in the $300 to $350 range, and P01s go for more than that.
ditto
My friend picked up one of each and if he’s willing I can scan in the receipts.
As eBay proves, there are no shortage of people willing to pay more than retail for a popular object at auction. :P
ditto
DEMS?????
Democrats are buying guns & arming on up and asking for advice? This is amazing information! I wonder how many parts of the country that this is true. I wonder what Pelosi & Barry & Harry will think?

The 2A "provides" absolutely nothing. Rights are pre-existing in human beings - we come with them fully installed. All the Bill of Rights does is acknowledge this.
This is NOT a trivial point.
I also just checked their website:
http://www.dallasguns.com/Bachman_pawn.asp
I clicked on "CZ" and it sent me here:
http://www.dallasguns.com/index.asp?type=72
It shows the P01 going for $599. Am I misreading something?
There’s certainly no need to go to that kind of trouble, I’m just surprised.
Consider something in the 22 WMR - it’s a VERY potent little cartridge without much more recoil than a 22LR. Energy is up there with the new FN 5.7mm stuff - it’ll get you some serious penetration and range out of a light kicking, relatively low cost round.
