Australian conservatives have shown the way by dumping the party leader who was in favour of massive carbon taxes and replacing him with one who stated last month that AGW is crap.
This makes Malcolm Turnbull, the suddenly-ex-leader of Australias Liberal party, the first major political victim of the Climategate furore. And his replacement Tony Abbott, the first politician to reap the benefits of the worlds growing scepticism towards ManBearPig. Of the three candidates, he was the only one committed to delaying the Australian governments proposed Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS).
The trouble began last week when Australias opposition Liberal party began haemorrhaging frontbenchers, all of them preferring to lose their jobs than be railroaded by their leader into voting with the Government on Kevin Rudds new carbon tax.

Reason for optimism, at last.
Aussie!
I love it! And a nice touch by the author, referring to manbearpig... :-)
This needs to be sent to all eco rats and Rinos in Congress, with a note saying: “Support Eco Fraud and go home!”
Delingpole is excellent.
There is no way the Libs will allow their ILK/GORE to go down in all his fraudulent investments, they are all financially tied to this scheme. Follow the money.
Thanks for posting Delingpole’s article. Thank God for Brits like him.
PING.....Delingpole will be on Glenn Beck’s show tonight talking about Climategate! Sure to be ‘Must See TV’!
A very bitter former Senator and Vice President Al Gore seen here en-route back to prison after a federal appeals court refused to review his 20 year sentence for his lead role as spokesperson in the Climategate fraud conspiracy. The same court recently rejected the appeals of the lengthy sentences of the 137 alleged UN scientists Gores co-conspirators for falsifying data supporting so-called Cap and Trade legislation that trial testimony disclosed would have virtually destroyed what remained of the U.S. economy while unjustly enriching Gore and a cabal of insiders.
Rudd to meet Obama before climate talks
Prime Minister Kevin Rudd will travel to Washington next week for talks with United States President Barack Obama ahead of the UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen.
Mr Rudd has been working with other leaders as a "friend of the chair" of the summit, but has already indicated a legally binding agreement on global emissions cuts was unlikely to be secured.
He said Mr Obama had invited him to Washington following the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Trinidad and Tobago this weekend
I wonder if this meeting was because of the resistance in Australia. I think Obama was put in office in part to push this UN global agenda.
In Professors Plimer and Carter, Australia has two of the most articulate proponents of climate change scepticism. This would not have happened without their tireless marshalling of the evidence and skillful presentation of the argument.
At least they have a Party that is prepared to make a stand against all this nonsense unlike us!
Ausome!
The only way America will follow suit is if we get REAL NOISY, people.
John Stossel is on now with Bill O. discusing Climategate.
