Boy, if you're right about going into another Dalton-type minimum that means a few decades of cooling, which would really send these guys into a funk. It was the Maunder Minimum(1645 to 1715) that coincided with the Little Ice Age . The Dalton Minimum (1790 to 1830):
coincided with a period of lower-than-average global temperatures. The Oberlach Station in Germany, for example, experienced a 2.0° C decline over 20 years.[2] The Year Without a Summer, in 1816, also occurred during the Dalton Minimum.
The current NASA/NOAA model has us expecting a low peak ( ~ 90 ) around 2013, which would be considerably less than the "Modern Maximum" peak ( over 200 ):
Then again, if you notice the gap between the actual and the red "predicted" curve, the NOAA model may be broken. We'll have to wait and see.

I know Krauthammer keeps saying its speculative and not junk science but I think hes being generous. I dont find it scientific at all, its compeletely unscientific - arriving at a desired conclusion and attempting to prove it with falsified and dubious data.Dr K has mental blocks at times. The tea parties escaped him totally. Abortion drives him to liberal blather. Science, specifically Earth's climate system and those who investigate it, is another of those blocks.

Just remember.
Without typos, the internet as we know it today would be impossible.
Cheers!

I hate to say it, but this issue has become so politicized I find myself distrusting NOAA forecasting, especially if it comes out of Boulder, a hotbed of alarmists.

Oh, I don’t trust the NOAA model at all. They’ve already had to adjust it more than once this cycle to make prediction come close to reality.
I’m just curious at what point they will admit they haven’t a clue.
