Stern attacks Australian climate sceptics

Britain's leading climate change economist, Nicholas Stern, has warned Australian politicians that they are mistaken if they think tackling climate change is too costly.

New Liberal leader Tony Abbott has put his party on a collision course with the Government over its emissions trading laws, which are expected to be voted down in the Senate this morning.

In London overnight Lord Stern released two new reports which he will take to this month's United Nations conference in Copenhagen.

They detail 11 points which he has worked on with the United Nations to help shape a final political agreement.

He says failure to secure a new deal could put the world at risk of temperature rises of more than 5 degrees Celsius, which he said would lead to serious global conflict.

And he attacked climate change sceptics, including those in Australian politics.

"If Australia were to take a view that it's all too difficult and costly that would be extremely damaging and it would also be profoundly mistaken," he warned.

Lord Stern labelled the views of those who are sceptical about the existence of man-made global warming as "muddled and confused".

Meanwhile UK Independence Party leader Malcolm Pearson welcomed the Liberal Party's decision to ditch former leader Malcolm Turnbull because of his support for the ETS.

"Let us hope that Malcolm Turnbull's fall is the first political scalp of many from those who pursue this crazy warmist agenda," he said.

Lord Stern will be a key player at Copenhagen next week.

He believes that rich countries need to commit $55 billion a year to the developing world to help them tackle climate change.

In his view, that should rise to $220 billion a year by 2020.

Nicholas Stern is another Climate Disaster profit-teer like the fat AlGoran. He’s closely tied with the Global Carbon Trading scams just as is Obama and his covey of Chicago Crooks. Do research on this fraud’s Stern Report commisioned by the Red Tony Blair. Another ClimateCrook for the rope!

.....and share their hard earned pay checks (Share the wealth, dude).

The only climate change we have to worry about is the snow - it's winter. Some people have very long drive ways, and that's a lot of shoveling

Here’s the whole issue in a nutshell- the UN NEEDS to ram this global warmign hoax through in copenhagen DESPITE al lthe evidence agaisnt it, in order to cememt the UN as the one world government- they will NOT allow facts to thwart their efforts, because without them being allowed to control all the world’s nations through global warming rules and regulations, they will not be able to establish a unified one world government, because nations will not be beholden to their laws- IF they can ram this through, then they have the ‘right’ to enforce the laws on every nation against htat nation’s will, and noone iwl lbe able to abstain.

The UN has their fingers i ntheir ears and are goign ‘La la la la la... we can’t hear you’ (when we bring the evidence that exposes the scam), and by al lrights, the world SHOULD be DEMANDING an IMMEDIATE cease and disist order to the UN and copenhagen, and demanding that the UN prove, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that man is to blame (which of course they can’t) before requiring hte world to surrender it’s finances to the UN. What blows my mind htough is that NO nation seems to be demanding htis. It’s liek the world WANTS to be scammed- wants to be beholden to a one world government, and are willing to allow this criminal fraud to go through despite the FACT that it’s been exposed as a criminalk fraud
