Climategate: it's all unravelling now

So many new developments: which story do we pick? Maybe best to summarise, instead. After all, it’s not like you’re going to find much of this reported in the MSM. 1. Australia’s Senate rejects Emissions Trading Scheme for a second time. Or: so turkeys don’t vote Christmas. Expect to see a lot more of this: politicians starting to become aware their party’s position on AGW is completely out of kilter with the public mood and economic reality. Kevin Rudd’s Emissions Trading Scheme – what Andrew Bolt calls “a $114 billion green tax on everything” – would have wreaked havoc on the coal-dependent Australian economy. That’s why several opposition Liberal frontbenchers resigned rather than vote with the Government on ETS; why Liberal leader Malcolm Turnbull lost his job; and why the Senate voted down the ETS.

From reading the articles coming out of Britain it appears they already have their version of cap and trade imposed on them, and they hate it. The green push from government keeps infringing on their freedoms.

As referenced in the article there is now a suggestion to not use ice in their drinks.

As Inigo Montoya once said: “Let me ‘splain. [pause] No, there is too much. Let me sum up.”

That’s what it’s all about (the hokey pokey of it) -

control of human consumption, at least by the masses,

so that the elite can have a comparatively luxuriant lifestyle.

Nice summary. Although he might of mentioned that there is a major climategate scandal in New Zealand as well—more academics fudging their data.

That front page on the Daily Express says it all.

"a suggestion to not use ice in their drinks.".... This Global warming scam is going to explode! Radicals were planning all kinds of new whacky laws on us based on phony premises. It makes me mad as hell that they were going to control and run our lives based on lies and deceit!

Climategate is our Goreron scandal, only much bigger, diabolical and dangerous than Enron. The state media doesn’t want to touch it with a ten foot pole, because it will cause people to see and question the methods of the left, and it shows that critics of the left have truth on their side.

Anyone with a modicum of common sense, despite the attempts at elitist “scientific” obfuscation and condescension, could see that FROM THE BEGINNING, the Climate Change nonsense, was a socialist scam and outright lie.

It is a shame that it took a scandal to bring this anti-American, anti-capitalism crap to its knees, but I guess we will take it any way we can get it, eh?

[[From reading the articles coming out of Britain it appears they already have their version of cap and trade imposed on them, and they hate it. The green push from government keeps infringing on their freedoms.]]

Britons need to resist this scam and DEMAND that the government stop defrauding them- busiensses need to strike, shutting down entire cities until the govenrment agrees to stop scamming htem and repeal ALL and each and every ‘global warming’ green mandate- IF they were to do this, then the world would take a much more serious look at htis issue- knowing that governments are NOT going to get away with the scam any longer because the people have wised up to the FACT that we were beign scammed al l along

I love it. Turning the enviroweenies' favorite weapon back at them - lawsuits!

At Ian Plimer’s lunch talk yesterday, Viscount Monckton talked of at least two in the offing – both by scientists, one British, one Canadian, who intend to pursue the CRU for criminal fraud. Their case, quite simply, is that the scientists implicated in Climategate have gained funding and career advancement by twisting data, hiding evidence, and shutting out dissenters by corrupting the peer-review process. More news on this, as I hear it.
