Sorry, am at work, and can’t view videos. What basically was his response? I’m sure it wasn’t the same as that of his ACORN folks.

Bad headline, since Obama was asked about this, he wasn't the one doing the asking.

If those who propose to legalize prostitution are willing to pay for the health care of said legal prostitutes, go for it.
However, those who want this profession legalized and regulated will expect the taxpayers to pay for the health care.
Pimps don't pay for that whether they are elected to the U.S. Congress or not.

...non-violent crime... If you "legalize" it, then it's not a crime(!) :O
Of course the questioner is probably too stupid to realize he/she is advocating anarchy. We want to "legalize" Bernie Madoff(?)
I just knew that Reagan was wrong when he emptied the insane asylums. Now the inmates are attending press conferences.

This activity may be “stimulating” but I don't see how converting black market activity into legal market activity stimulates the overall economy. There may be good reasons to do it and it would raise tax revenue, but I don't see how it helps with a recession.

The casinos filed for bankruptcy, Drugs are imported into Detroit but sold in suburbia. And the high priced whores are from Montreal who run their trade out of Windsor.

Actually, this trade was pretty much legal back home when I was a kid. At least, one would believe so, considering all the police cars parked around “Molly’s Rest Home!”
To: wmileo
Also, if it were enacted, would there be exceptions crafted into work requirements in connection with unemployment, welfare and student aid programs? Should there be? If there’s nothing wrong with it, then why any exceptions?

so they can tax it, silly.
That’s the only reason drugs will ever be legalized
And the Libertarians will call it their idea.

Actually, he had a kind of funny response:
He said “While I appreciate your boldness, that will not be a part of my strategy.”
