That was some time ago! I remember El Cajon from the very early 60’s when it wasn’t unusual to see small dairies, livestock, horses and small open acreages of crops in or near town....even truck farming (mostly orchards) within minutes of town. By the 70’s there was an apartment building boom in the valley and El Cajon went down hill from there.

Yeah, if I recall correctly, Carl Clark graduated from ECHS around 1910.
